Minder Sign-On Requirement

Following a review of the Motorcycling Australia (MA) insurance program and the Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoMS), we want to clarify the requirements for minders at Pathfinders events.

Under MA rules, minders are considered participants in the event, not spectators or officials. Because of this, minders must be formally signed on for the event through Ridernet.

• Minders must sign on through Ridernet
• The minder event entry fee is $20
• This is not a licence fee and the club does not profit from this cost – it simply covers the standard event entry requirement.

If a minder wishes to ride a motorcycle at the event, they must hold a valid MA licence. This can be either:
• MA One Event Licence
• MA Recreational Licence

Point to note: if you are already signed on as a participant (for example as a rider or official), you are welcome to assist or spot for another rider.

This process helps ensure:
• Minders are recognised participants in the permitted event
• Appropriate insurance coverage applies
• Landowners are protected
• Most importantly, our officials and volunteers are protected

We understand that additional costs can impact riders and families.

However, remaining compliant with MA requirements is important to ensure our events can continue to run safely.

This event will be held at an amazing new property on Craig Rd, Jelcobine. The turn off to Craig Rd is via Westdale Rd and then Butchers Rd. It is about a 1:45hr drive from Perth CBD.

Signs will be in place from the turnoff at the Butchers Rd junction on Westdale Rd.

There is camping available at the Clark farm property for the upcoming TRS & EM WA Winter Series #1 Trial (Prestige Series #1) for Saturday night 13th June 2026.

Camping is at the Pits area near the old bus, the same as the last trial here last year

You will need to be fully self-sufficient.

The Pathfinders toilet will be onsite from Sunday morning till the end of the Trial.

Please note that there is a NO GO ZONE in the area of the house and also the sheds near the entrance gate. Please respect the property owners privacy and do not enter these areas.

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 - practice riding is permitted Saturday afternoon from 1pm on-wards excluding the competition areas.

No entry to / or interference with the Sections as set is allowed
