For over 50 years, Nelson Bay Football Club has been proudly built by volunteers. From committee members and coaches to game day helpers and canteen volunteers, our club simply wouldn't exist without the support of our amazing community.

As we look ahead to the 2027 season, we're seeking enthusiastic people to help lead and support the club into the future.

⚽️ TERM 2 & 3 SEASON RECAP! ⚽️

What a season it’s been! 🙌

Every week, 13 incredible kids have turned up, given it their all, supported each other and, most importantly, had FUN! 💙⚽️

This season we had a very special first — we headed along to the Gala Day at Speers Point! 🌟 It was an amazing opportunity for our players to put their skills into action and play against kids from other clubs. The excitement, smiles and enthusiasm were absolutely contagious — and they LOVED every minute of it! 🥳

Watching this group grow week after week has been something pretty special. Their skills have improved, their confidence has grown, and they’ve continued to push themselves and celebrate each other along the way. 👏

But what makes this team truly special isn’t just what happens on the field. It’s the way they encourage, support and cheer each other on. Every goal, every great pass, every brave attempt and every little win is celebrated together. ❤️

From nervous beginnings to taking on a Gala Day with huge smiles and plenty of determination — what a journey!

A massive shoutout to our awesome players for making every session so much fun. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 🌟

What a season it’s been for our U12–U18 teams! ⚽️

From the first whistle of the season to the final games, our players have shown incredible commitment, teamwork, determination and club pride. 👏

We’re so proud of every player, coach, manager and family who has been part of the journey this year.

A huge congratulations to the teams who made the finals series, and an equally big shoutout to those who may not have made it through — your effort, improvement and commitment throughout the season have not gone unnoticed. 💛🖤

To our coaches and managers — thank you for giving your time, knowledge and support to our players week after week. 🙌

And to all our families — thank you for the early mornings, long drives, sideline support and endless encouragement. You’re what makes our club so special! 🫶

🏆⚽️ MINOR PREMIERS – AN INCREDIBLE SEASON! ⚽️🏆

Our Nelson Bay U15s walked away from the Grand Final with a narrow 1–0 loss to Medowie FC.

It’s a tough result to take, but one game doesn’t take away from what has been an extraordinary year for this group. 💛🖤

Entering the Grand Final undefeated and as Minor Premiers, the boys showed incredible grit right to the very end. Despite illness affecting the squad, every player gave absolutely everything and fought until the final whistle.

The club is incredibly proud of this group and everything they have achieved this season. 👏

The Grand Final loss will sting for a while, but as they say… that’s football. ⚽️

What stood out most was the way the boys handled the disappointment — with maturity, resilience and plenty of class. They showed exactly what they are made of.

They may have lost one game, but they won the season. 🏆

🏆💛🖤 **U16s – GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS!** 🖤💛🏆

WHAT. A. FINISH! 🔥⚽️

Our U16s have taken out the Grand Final, defeating Cooks Hill 2–1 after extra time in an absolute thriller!

The scores were locked at 1–1 after 90 minutes, before Nelson Bay found the breakthrough in the first half of extra time to take a 2–1 lead.

Then came the final minute… 😱

Cooks Hill were awarded a penalty, but Logan Parmigiani stood tall and pulled off an AMAZING save to keep the score at 2–1 and seal the Grand Final victory for Nelson Bay! 🧤🔥

After claiming the Minor Premiership, the boys have now finished the job and capped off an incredible season with the ultimate prize! 🏆

💛🖤 U13/1s | 2026 SEASON RECAP 🖤💛

After a fantastic season, our NBFC 13/1s were back to defend their title against Stockton.

In many ways, our kids had already played their Grand Final the week before, putting together arguably their best performance of the season to defeat a great bunch of kids from Medowie FC. What a game and what a way to finish their season! 💪⚽️

A special shout-out to all our new players this year, and to our two tenacious female players, who combined with an incredibly talented group of teammates to make this an even better team in 2026 — players and families included. 👏

Cheers to a great crew, a fantastic season and plenty of good memories from 2026.
