A Heartfelt Note from Our Founder & Head Coach

As we wrap up an incredible 2024, I want to take a moment to thank YOU—our amazing community—for your unwavering support, trust, and enthusiasm over the past 12 months. Nu-Swim wouldn’t be what it is today without you, and we’re so grateful to have you as part of our journey.

This year was particularly special (and a little challenging) for me. Your understanding and encouragement during winter, when I took extra time to focus on completing my Master of Education in Primary Teaching, meant the world to me. As someone passionate about lifelong learning, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve also embarked on a new adventure: a year-long course with Autism Swim. This program will help us create an even more inclusive and supportive environment at Nu-Swim, and I can’t wait to share updates with you in 2024.

To recharge and spend time with our families this holiday season, Nu-Swim will be taking a short mid-season break. We’ll close at the end of business on Thursday, December 19th and return on Monday, January 6th, with a hybrid schedule in place until school resumes on Tuesday, January 27th.

As always, we’re here for you—if you need anything or just want to connect, don’t hesitate to reach out.

A message from our Founder and Head Coach:
 
This Thursday, Australians will pause to thank and honour those that served our country.  Nu-Swim will join them by cancelling all classes scheduled for Anzac Day (Thursday 25 April).
 
Like every Anzac Day, I will cherish the memory of Ronald Charles Perkins, WWII RAAF veteran, proud Queenslander and my grandfather.
