The annual Keith Bradshaw Club dinner will be held in November, the date will be confirmed next week. Keep the calendar clear to celebrate another great year with current and past players, families and club administrators.

NEW ROLE, FAMILIAR FACE – JASON BROWN

We’re excited to announce Jason Brown as our new Junior Development Officer!

Jason will already be a familiar face to many of our junior players and families, having coached within our Junior Program for the past two seasons.

He brings plenty of cricket experience to the role, having played several seasons of NTCA A Grade cricket with Launceston and George Town, along with experience coaching senior teams in the Tasmanian Cricket League (TCL).

As Junior Development Officer, Jason will work closely with our junior coaches and coordinators to continue growing and strengthening our program, helping our young cricketers develop their skills, build confidence and, most importantly, have plenty of fun along the way!

We’re excited to see Jason step into the role and look forward to what’s ahead for our juniors this season.

We’d also like to say thank you to last season’s JDO, David (Shep) Sheppard, for the enormous amount of time, energy and dedication he has put into our junior players and program. Shep won’t be going too far, he will remain a familiar face around the Club as a Board Member and coach of one of our Stage teams, continuing to play an important role in the development of our young cricketers.

2024 KEITH BRADSHAW CLUB ANNUAL DINNER

Last Saturday evening, 9th November The KBC celebrated our second annual dinner with a wonderful turn out of past and current players, officials and friends and family of the club.

The pinnacle of the evening was the announcement and presentation of the annual Keith Bradshaw Recognition Award to Hayden Cross. Hayden is a most deserving recipient who is recognised as embodying the qualities and attributes of selflessness, hard work, dedication, club orientation and courage as personified by the late Keith Bradshaw. Congratulations to Hayden and we look forward to watching him grow and thrive with New Town.

The club was lucky enough to host a number of specials guests including Eliza, one of Keith’s daughter’s, her partner, Gus and mother, Louise. We thank you all for making yourselves available to join us on this significant occasion for the club.

The guest speaker for the evening was Gary Goodman who provided a very insightful and in-depth account of his own personal cricket journey. The KBC would like to thank Gary for his time and support.
