🏑 2026 SENIOR AWARDS - NOMINATIONS OPEN
As the season comes to a close, it’s time to recognise the people who have made 2026 special.
Nominations for the 2026 TUHC Senior Awards are now open!
This year, the Club has made some changes:
🏆 Club Person of the Year: Merges the Club Man & Club Woman awards.
🏆 Club Spirit Award: replaces the Sportsman and Woman awards and aims to recognise someone who consistently embodies the spirit and values of TUHC, on and off the field, whether playing in Tasmania or representing the Club at National or International level.

The great news keeps coming for our goalkeepers on the world stage, with Lynne ‘Cecil’ Trustum also bringing home a gold medal at the Masters World Cup! 🥇
Cecil was part of the 70+ Spirits side, who went through the entire tournament undefeated. A valuable team member in goals, Cecil helped ensure the team didn’t concede a single goal throughout the tournament!

🇦🇺🏑 GAGGS GOES FOR GOLD! 🥇
TUHC Life Member Peter ‘Gaggs’ Gaggin has been busy representing Australia at the 2026 World Cup in Brasschaat with the Australian M60 side.
And what a tournament it has been! 🇦🇺
After a tense 0–0 draw against the Netherlands this morning, the Aussies have booked their place in the Gold Medal Match! 🥇
Adding another special moment to the tournament, Gaggs was also selected as a flag bearer for the Australian team. What an incredible sight to see one of our own representing Australia on the national stage once again. ❤️🖤🤍
Good luck to Gaggs and the Aussie M60s for the final!
