Newcastle National Park Croquet Club

The annual Golf Croquet Doubles carnival was held on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July 2022. There were 21 teams attending. Unfortunately, the carnival was abandoned mid morning on Sunday due to the heavy rain. Prizes were awarded to the block winners from the Saturday round robin. A special thank you to those that assisted particularly in very trying conditions on the Sunday.

A successful Hunter Region Novice Golf Carnival was held on Sunday 15 May 2022.
There were 13 teams entered from Newcastle, Mt Sugarloaf, Pelican, Maitland, Toronto, Nelson Bay and Cessnock.
The Carnial was played as a round robin of 4 rounds of level play before lunch and after lunch 1 round of handicap play.
There were coaches and referrees available and members to assist with the handicap cards.
Thank you to Derek Bull for organising the Carnival and Jan Tiedeman for running the carnival on the day. Thank you to Helen Chalmers and Judy Chidgey for refereeing and for Chris Gill who assisted. Thank you to all those helpers who assisted in the kitchen, time keeping, filling in score cards and anything else that needed doing on the day.
