I was so confused, I went to the doctor for blood tests... ๐๐ฉธ
I was 23, and a full time fitness instructor (yes, the Britney Spears microphone and everything).
I had just moved to Australia for the first time and was working my ass off to make a name for myself in the fitness industry.
And one day, I felt, ๐๐๐๐๐ฟ... ๐
I had never experienced this before.
Most young men havent.
Feeling sluggish, low on energy, and flat.
- ๐๐ข๐บ๐ฃ๐ฆ I was overworking myself.
- ๐๐ข๐บ๐ฃ๐ฆ I just lost that youthful energy.
- ๐๐ข๐บ๐ฃ๐ฆ I was living on chocolate milk and banana bread from the servo (you Aussieโs are mad for that stuff).
Waking up fatigued, no motivation to train, and no energy to do anything fun.
๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐ข ๐จ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ต ๐ง๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ... ๐
I couldnโt understand what was wrong, so much so that I went to my doctor.
He did some blood tests, then offered me anti-depressants.
So I left.
I started paying attention to what I was eating, and ๐๐ช๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ข๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐๐ฎ instead of just filling myself up with calories.
I focused on training that ๐๐ช๐๐ก๐ฉ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐ฎ, instead of stripping it.
I could not believe the difference it made.
This was a revelation to me, especially since I used to eat whatever I wanted, stay lean and feel great all the time.
But I spent a long time figuring out exactly HOW to eat to feel good.
Itโs different for everyone.
It requires trial and error.
Itโs happening to men younger and younger these days.
If youโve read this far, you probably understand from experience.
My message to you.
- ๐๐ข ๐ก๐ข๐ง give up.
- ๐๐ข ๐ก๐ข๐ง be tricked into thinking you feel like this just because of your age.
- ๐๐ข invest time into learning how to take care of your health.
Itโs a skill that gets harder to learn the longer you put it off.
