Although TRT can drastically improve someone’s quality of life, outside of specific medical circumstances it shouldn’t be the first lever you pull to increase hormone production.
There are a myriad of lifestyle/health factors that can really negatively impact natural hormone production.
If you are being driven into the ground with overtime at work, training with excessive amounts of training volume, under-fueling nutritionally, sleeping 4-5 hours a night, constantly fighting with the missus and inhaling beers every day/week.
You can get bloodwork after a period of redlining like above and have low testosterone relative to baseline.
So instead of accepting:
“oh, im nearly *insert age between 25-40* I need to get on TRT”.
Try sleeping more.
Try managing stress/recovery better
Train within your recovery capabilities.
Try consuming a high quality diet with heaps of plants, dietary fibre and adequate dietary fats (omega 3’s etc).
Try maintaining a healthy body composition
But if you just want to actually blast gear, that’s absolutely fine too.
Just don’t lie to yourself and others saying you’re on a therapeutic dose of testosterone. .

The cause of injuries are multifaceted and saying that injuries are straight up caused by going into a certain position or deviating from position is just wrong.
Being restrictive with your movement is exactly how you end up being fragile.
If you never put your body through certain positions under resistance, how can you expect to build resilience in those positions.
Coaches need to be aware of the language they use when discussing movement and injury, so they don’t nocebo their clients/audience into fearing movement.

Just live and let live.
Im stoked to see people recording their s**t in the gym, usually means they give a f**k about trying to improve.
Even if its purely just to put on socials, hopefully they train damn hard which in turn inspires to get into the gym and shift some tin.

Yes, having a preworkout is a good idea just to hedge your bets to ensure you’re fueled for training, it’s not just a big deal if you accidentally miss it.
As long as you’re consistent with consuming enough total daily kcals across the day, wherever you slot training into the schedule - you’re fueled to perform.
Don’t go into your session with a defeated mindset just because you missed your preworkout snack/meal.

As soon as you hear “big food” it should be a sign to keep scrolling..
All these options are fine in moderation and can play an integral part in adherence due to their convenience
Food should not be seen through the binary lens of good or bad.
Whether a food is seen as indulgent or foundational, it all has its place within a healthy approach to eating.

Experiencing a frequent lack of desire to train could be a hint that youre due for a deload.
But you may not feel that beat up from a physical perspective and hence a complete deload my not be necessary.
Mental burnout could be the cause for the lack of motivation, especially if you have strung together weeks and months of hard training with your current program.
Having some sessions where you just go in and have fun mean you still get some training in but can also enjoy a bit of a mental break from the usual programming.
Theres many roads to rome.
Whether you keep in the tasty s**t or not comes down to the individual and the overall duration of the diet.
Abstaining completely is not necessary for a diet to be successful.
