You’re at risk of being left behind if you don’t do this…

We can not hide the fact social media is very much in our world. And the small business owners that are still not taking it serious and incorporating this into their marketing strategy.. are going to be left behind.

People are using AI to search for services more than Google. And unless you have something out there for AI to find… your competitors will be getting the calls not you.

The good news is.. it doesn’t have to be complicated. And the way we have been doing this for our clients is simply by having conversations behind the mic in our podcast studios.

I sat down with Damien from Pumped Plumbing and had such an amazing chat about how he is navigating a million dollar business with a growing family and all of the stresses of it all.

Episode drops Tuesday 18th Aug

If everything you’ve ever built…

Every achievement.

Every title.

Every post.

Every award.

Every success…

Was forgotten by the world.

And you had one final opportunity to step onto a stage and leave people with a single message…

What would you say?

It’s one of my favourite questions to ask on the podcast because it strips everything back.

No business strategy.

No marketing.

No filters.

Just the message you hope people remember long after you’re gone.

I asked Annelise McCarthy that exact question… and her answer is one I’ll be thinking about for a long time.

He probably won’t remember this.

Brushing our teeth together.

The conversations we have getting ready.

The ridiculous things that make us laugh.

The little routines that feel completely ordinary to me right now.

Archie is three.

And the reality is, most of these moments won’t become memories he can consciously recall when he’s older.

That thought has been sitting with me lately.

Because if something happened to me tomorrow, he’d have thousands of photos like this.

He’d have videos.

He’d have family and friends who could tell him stories about his mum.

But would he actually KNOW me?

What I believed.

What I’d been through.

What I learnt.

What I got wrong.

What made me laugh.

Why I built the things I built.

What I wanted him to know about life.

Would he know my voice?

My words?

My version of my story?

And that’s part of what sits behind 100 Stories.

Yes, I believe capturing someone’s expertise can build trust and grow their business.

But I also believe there’s something incredibly powerful about simply leaving a record that you were here.

Not just photos of what your life looked like.

But your thoughts.

Your stories.

Your laugh.

Your perspective.

Your voice.

Because maybe the most valuable person who listens to your story isn’t a prospective client.

Maybe it’s someone you love, 20 years from now.

And instead of hearing about who you were from somebody else…

they get to hear it from you.

I was scared before every decision that changed my life.

Leaving the police.

Starting my business.

Hiring my first team member.

Speaking on stage.

Travelling solo.

Every single one came with a moment where I thought…

“Can I actually do this?”

This week, if I’m honest, I’m feeling it again.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been doing a lot.

Maybe it’s because I’m running on empty.

Maybe it’s the full moon. 😂

Or maybe… this is just what growth feels like.

I think we look at people doing brave things and assume they aren’t scared.

But what if they’re just doing it anyway?

So if you’re doubting yourself today…

If you’re wondering whether you’re capable…

Or if you’re waiting until you feel confident…

This is your reminder.

Do it scared.

Because every good thing in my life started with one brave decision.

Send this to a friend who needs the reminder today

I believe we attract what we put out.

Looking back now, I don’t think anyone ever truly knew the real me.
They knew the version of me I put forward.

The people-pleasing me.
The version that avoided conflict.
The version that worried about disappointing everyone else.
The version that had lost herself trying to keep everyone around her happy.

And honestly...
That’s who I taught them I was.

My ex-husband and I met at the same level of wounding & awareness.
But over the years, I changed.

I left the Police.
I stepped into coaching.
I invested in therapy.
I let go of friendships that no longer aligned & built friendships there were.

I started asking myself the hard questions.
Who am I when I’m not trying to make everyone else comfortable?
What do I actually want?
What do I believe?

The more I became myself, the more my life changed.
Some relationships no longer fit.
New people came into my life & others left.
Not because anyone was wrong...
But because I was no longer living as the version of myself that attracted them in the first place.

Today, I can honestly say I’m the happiest and most peaceful I’ve ever been.

Because for the first time, I’m no longer ‘performing’ a version of myself.
I’m simply being me.

I really do believe we attract what we put out.
The more authentic you become...
The more aligned the people, opportunities and relationships around you become too.

If this resonated with you, leave a ❤️ below & show other women they’re not alone on this journey.
