2026 World Field Championships - Qualifying : Unmarked and Marked Rounds. A totally brutal and challenging course magnified by terrential rain. The barebow course had to be reduced to 6 targets out of 24 due to unsafe grounds.

Day 3 in Yankton which hosted some tight individual contests and teams eliminations for our Aussie team.

Millie Fisher and Xavier Clark secured bronze in the U21 Barebow Mixed Team🥉(photos still to come)

Nicky Fairweather and May Hu progressed to the Barebow Women’s semifinals and its Aust v Aust between Millie Fisher and Elke Yee as they shoot for bronze in the U21 Barebow Women’s event.

Strong Australian teams still in the fight for medals, with the U21 Men’s, U21 Women’s, U21 Recurve Mixed, U21 Compound Mixed, Senior Recurve Mixed and Senior Barebow Mixed teams to compete on the final day.

It’s been a tough couple of days with plenty of rain, mud and some shortened courses, but the team has continued to put up some great results.

One medal in the bag, and plenty more chances tomorrow. 🇦🇺🏹

The reciprocal visit by Newcastle Pistol Club took place yesterday and it went off very well and was well received by our guests.
Several have indicated that they will be back to our quiet end of the quarry.
Michael continued on finishing the installation of the new tarpaulin in the background. Thanks very much, it is very effective and will no doubt be used a lot in the upcoming summer and storms.
It was great to see the return of Dave in his new car.
Richard and his sous chef Gail did another great job on the bbq. Two of the Maggie's got a bit pushy but had their appetite satisfied.
Thanks to Andrew also for his hard work as well.
Pres Geoff
