Water is the basis of all life and that includes your body.
Your muscles that move your body are 75% water; your blood that transport nutrients is 82% water
your lungs that provide your oxygen are 90% water; your brain that is the control center of your body is 76% water; even your bones are 25% water.
It has been stated by leading experts in the field of exercise & physiology
Being dehydrated by even as little 2% results in a significant decrease in performance when exercising
You see every energy system within the body is pegged to and reliant upon the constant flow of water
So without enough of it you suffer the consequences
Todays mission objective is to fully hydrate your body everyday from here on out
The formula to work out how much you should be drink each day is
0.033XBW = (kgs)
Example 0.033X 86kg = 2.8 litres
This is the amount of water needed for basic daily function for a 86kg male
If you're exercising vigourously more water will be needed for optimal performance
To keep track of your intake have a water bottle that you take with you everywhere
and know how many times you need to refill it to hit your daily count

The Navy seals are one group of elite soliders
Who undergo cold water training to keep their mind and bodies strong
Now none of us need to be at navy seal level,
But employing some of their secrets to make some gains at home and be in peak physical condition can’t be a bad thing!
There are many reasons why exposure to cold water will keep you strong
But for todays mission i’d like to share with you
How a cold shower will help you lean up aswell
You see there are two types of fat in the body brown and white
Brown fats are derived from muscle tissue and are considered good
When you jump into the cold water you turn these brown fats on and there job is to burn calories and generate heat!
So with regular exposure to cold water you increase your brown fats ( good) and decrease white fats (bad)
Yes i know cold showers are uncomfortable
But part of being a man is pushing yourself
and getting out of your comfort zone right?
So Day 3’s MISSION is
To have 1-2 cold showers every day for the remainder of the week
PROTOCOL
- Use the coldest water your shower can generate
- Remain in the water for at least 3 mins
- Breathe heavy and stay relaxed as possible
TIP - I always start the shower with warm water & then shift into cold,
I find this much easier than jumping straight into the cold.

BACK IN THE STONE AGE
WHEN MEN HUNTED FOR ANIMALS
THEY WOULD HAVE FEASTED AFTER A LIVE KILL LEAVING NOTHING TO WASTE!
Not knowing when their next meal would be!
This would have been the normal way of life
and our physical bodies would have adapted to this way of feasting and fasting
How do we know this?
Because science proves it!
When you do a fast
Your body goes into a state called KETOSIS!
Meaning fat tissue becomes the primary source of energy that your body burns through
ketosis also causes certain hormones such as adiponectin and leptin to increase in count
Resulting in higher levels of TESTOSTERONE
Everything a cave man would have needed to thrive
Our evolutionary biology is still tuned to this way of living
Intermittent fasting heightens your senses
burns fat of your body and stimulates muscle growth
So DAY 2's Mission is....
Pick two days out of the week to fast
for approximately 12-14 hours
Whether you choose to do Morning or Evening is up to you eg
Start fast at 5pm-7am or Start 10pm-12pm
Whatever works best for your lifestyle
You will notice benefits even after 1 week
Notes: (During the Fast period aim to only consume WATER, BLACK COFFEE or HERBAL TEA)
maintaining blood sugar level is CRITICAL for a successful fast.
