It's time for term 4 Junior Underwater Hockey!
Starts this Sunday!

We are very excited to now have an MPIO (Member Protection and Information Officer) at the Newcastle Underwater Hockey Club, John Harrington.
An MPIO is for your protection and comfort, ensuring you have someone to talk to about any concerns or issues you have within the club. This position is impartial, and John will be working hard to ensure you are listened to and referred to the correct policies or people to work through any problems you are having.

We hope you’ve had an active and energised start to the year — it’s been amazing seeing so many of you making waves in the pool, hitting the gym, sweating it out in SwimFIT, and loving our AquaFIT classes!💪🏼💙

🔧Starting Monday 30 June until Sunday 20 July 2025, the NUsport Aquatic Centre will be temporarily closed for essential roof rectification works. This is the final stage of project following temporary repairs in 2023 — and yes, that means the overhead safety netting is coming down!🛠️💦

We look forward to welcoming you back in mid-July following the completion of essential ceiling rectification works at the Aquatic Centre.🌟

🚫Who’s affected?
All Aquatic programs including Learn to Swim, SwimFIT, AquaFIT and general lap swimming will be paused during this time. We know that’s a bummer, but we’re here to help you stay on track with your fitness goals!👟

Gentle exercise classes will be running to help you stay active and moving.

🏋🏼‍♀️Lap Swimmers & SwimFIT Members:
Why not try something new on land? Explore Group Fitness classes, hit the gym floor, or book a tailored session with one of our instructors for land-based swim conditioning support!

📬Learn to Swim families:  
Term 2 will finish on Sunday 29 June and Term 3 will start back on Monday 21 July 2025.  No Holiday Intensive programs will run during this period. 
 
🏊🏽Squad members:
If you’re part of our Swim Academy Squad program, you’ve been contacted directly with alternative arrangements to keep your athletes swimming during the break!🙌🏻💦
