What a night for the Blue Jays! 💙🏀

Grand Finals delivered the the grit and the teamwork we love to see, with Blue Jays Fire and Blue Jays Velocity putting on an absolute show to take home the wins! We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination and team-first attitude displayed on the biggest stage.

A huge congratulations to our Grand Final MVPs: 🔥 Maleeha (Blue Jays Fire) ⚡ Aiden (Blue Jays Velocity)

Special shout out as well to Meeka and Ellie, who also celebrated Grand Final victories with their Premier Division team. What an incredible achievement!

Not every result goes your way, but every team showed the true spirit of Blue Jays basketball. Blue Jays Energy fought until the final buzzer, keeping the scoreboard dead tight all game before heartbreakingly missing a medal by just two points in the dying seconds. The resilience and fight shown by this group was extraordinary.

Blue Jays Voltage didn’t get the scoreboard they were hoping for, but we’re just as proud of their effort, commitment and sportsmanship. Success isn’t only measured by medals. It’s measured by the courage to compete, support your teammates and leave everything on the court.

This week has been a celebration of everything that makes our club special: grit, strength, resilience and teamwork. Every player, coach, volunteer and supporter should be incredibly proud.

And we’re not done yet... 👀

🏆 More Blue Jays grand final action hits the courts tomorrow. Let’s bring that Blue Jays energy and get behind our teams!

🏆 GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a way to kick off the Grand Final series! The Hurricanes were the first team to hit the court and they absolutely blitzed it, delivering a convincing win and setting the tone for an incredible week of basketball.

The Blue Jays crowd brought the energy, the noise and the support, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way our girls represented the club. 💙

A huge congratulations to Coach K and this awesome bunch of girls who left it all on the court. Your teamwork, determination and effort were on full display, and the result speaks for itself!
Enjoy the win, Hurricanes. You’ve earned it! 👏🏀💙

And well done to Elle, the MVP! You fought hard, played strong and are such an asset to your team!

🏀💙 IT’S GRAND FINALS WEEK, BLUE JAYS! 💙🏀

What an incredible winter season it’s been for our club.
We are proud to celebrate that almost 60% of our teams qualified for finals, with an outstanding 41% progressing all the way to a Grand Final. That’s a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by our players, coaches, volunteers and families throughout the season.

This week, our Blue Jays teams will take to the court with the toughness, grit, determination and spirit that define our club. Win or loss, every player has already made us proud.

To our Grand Finalists and Premier League representatives, we are right behind you.

Now it’s time for the Blue Jays community to show up. If you can make it to the stadium this week, wear your blue, bring your voice and get behind our teams. There’s no better feeling than looking into the crowd and seeing a sea of Blue Jays supporters cheering you on.

Let’s pack the stands, create some noise and give our players that extra boost when it matters most.

Good luck to all our teams competing this week. Let’s go Blue Jays! 💙🧡

🏀💙 A season to be proud of for our 12 Boys Elevate and 12 Boys Edge teams!

While their finals campaigns came to an end before reaching the Grand Final, both teams have every reason to hold their heads high.

Making the finals is an achievement in itself, and throughout the season these players showed determination, resilience, teamwork and heart. In two hard-fought contests, the narrow margins highlighted just how deserving they were of their place in the finals and how fiercely they competed until the final whistle.

Most importantly, they left everything on the court. That effort, commitment and willingness to battle for every possession is something the entire club is incredibly proud of.

Congratulations to all players, coaches and families on a fantastic season.

⚠️ The rest of the competition has been warned... watch out for 12 Boys Elevate and 12 Boys Edge in 2027! 💙🏀

Our first team off to the Grand Final next week is our littlest girl Jays…. The 12G Blue Jays Hurricanes!

A message from Coach K:

“I’m so proud of each and every one of the girls and how they all bring their own specialty to our team which makes it click and work. They all have so much passion, fight and strength and I just couldn’t be prouder!”

All the Blue Jays community are so proud of the girls and are behind them all the way! Go girls, you got this!!!!!!

Turns out the Blue Jays mums might just have a thing for the spotlight (or just a full sized court with bright lighting) 👀🏀

After being scheduled on the main court tonight, the team delivered their first win!

Coincidence? Maybe.

Main character energy? Absolutely.

So proud of this group for showing up, backing each other, having a laugh and finally getting the result we knew was coming.

The confidence is building, the teamwork is clicking, and the Blue Jays are officially on the board 💙
