Have you ever wondered how those crisp lines appear on our fields — and who actually puts them there? ⚽️

At KSA, we have a dedicated line marking crew led by the lovely Daffy, pictured below, and supported by various volunteers from the KSA Committee who give their time to prepare our fields for play.

This season, their job has been made a whole lot easier thanks to the incredible support of Fortescue. 💚

A HUGE thank you to Fortescue for supporting Karratha Soccer Association with funding for our new line marking machine. This new equipment is a fantastic investment for our Association, helping our volunteers mark our fields more efficiently and consistently and supporting the delivery of football across Karratha.

Support like this makes a genuine difference to grassroots sport. When organisations like Fortescue invest in local community sport, that support flows directly through to our volunteers, our players and the hundreds of families who enjoy football each week.

We are incredibly grateful to have Fortescue supporting our Association and helping us continue to improve the way we deliver football for our community.

If you’re parking adjacent to the fields at Karratha Leisureplex, please switch off your headlights — they can significantly impact players and play on the field.

Our Ground Marshals will be on patrol to assist. Thanks for helping us keep Friday night football safe and enjoyable for everyone! ⚽❤️💙

We are committed to a positive, safe and enjoyable finals series for everyone. ⚽️

For the 2026 Finals Series, we’ve strengthened our match-day processes to better support players, coaches, team officials, referees and spectators.

One of the key changes this year is the introduction of Ground Marshalls at each field during matches. Ground Marshalls will be there to help support a safe and respectful match-day environment and assist with any concerns that may arise.

We also encourage everyone to use the KSA Injury & Incident Form to report incidents, injuries, hazards, near misses, behavioural concerns or facility issues. This information helps KSA identify concerns, follow them up appropriately and continue improving the match-day experience.
