💙🤍💚🖤🏀 TWO CLUBS. ONE COMMUNITY. BUILDING STRONGER PEOPLE! 🏀💙🤍💚🖤

🧭 CONFLICT RESOLUTION – KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

What an absolutely incredible session we had with the amazing Jackie from JMX Solutions, who joined our United Districts Titans and Greenlight Titans families to deliver a fantastic session on conflict resolution! 👏🔥

And WOW, did she deliver!

As you’ll see from the video, Jackie brought passion, humour, energy and a wealth of knowledge into the room, giving everyone some very special AM******ON TO LOAD INTO OUR CONFLICT RESOLUTION GUNS! 🎯

But this wasn’t about learning how to win arguments or prove someone wrong.

It was about developing the skills to communicate better, listen more effectively, understand different perspectives and navigate difficult situations constructively.

🧭 THE CONFLICT COMPASS

Jackie introduced us to four powerful principles:

🔵 NORTH – KNOW THE FRAMEWORK: Understand the situation, expectations, policies and what fairness looks like.

🟢 EAST – ENGAGE EARLY: Recognise warning signs and address issues before they become bigger problems.

🔵 SOUTH – SEEK TO UNDERSTAND: Listen to different perspectives, recognise emotions and ask the questions that haven’t been asked.

🟢 WEST – WAY FORWARD: Find constructive, proportionate responses, communicate outcomes and learn from every situation.

💡 “There are no perfect answers – only better questions.”

What a powerful message to take away!

🏀 MORE THAN JUST BASKETBALL!

Across United and Greenlight, our responsibility extends far beyond teaching players how to shoot, defend or win games.

We are helping develop young people, supporting families, strengthening leadership and creating environments where everyone feels respected, valued and heard.

Conflict will always exist wherever people come together. What matters is how we recognise it, approach it and work through it.

These are skills we can take into our basketball clubs, workplaces, homes and everyday lives.

🙌 A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO JACKIE AND JMX SOLUTIONS!

Your knowledge, humour, enthusiasm and practical approach made this a truly worthwhile experience for both our clubs.

You’ve certainly left us with plenty of am******on — but more importantly, you’ve taught us how to use it wisely!

DIFFERENT CLUBS. SHARED VALUES. ONE STRONGER BASKETBALL COMMUNITY!

Because basketball is what brings us together, but the people we become along the way are what really matter! 🏀❤️

The stage is set for our winter presentation. We can’t wait to see everyone and celebrate the season that was.

19/09/2026

🏆🔥 ONLY 24 HOURS TO GO! 🔥🏆

Tomorrow is GREENLIGHT TITANS PRESENTATION DAY and one of the biggest questions is about to be answered…

👀 WHO WILL BE CROWNED THE 2026 WINTER MVP? 👀

Who will hear their name called?

Who will be recognised as the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER for their team?

At Greenlight, being an MVP is about SO MUCH MORE than who scores the most points. 🏀

A true MVP represents what we want a Greenlight Titan to be:

💚 EFFORT — giving everything you have every time you step onto the court.

💚 ENCOURAGEMENT — lifting your teammates up, especially when things aren’t going their way.

💚 POSITIVITY — bringing great energy to training, games, the bench and your team.

💚 LEADERSHIP — leading through your actions, attitude and the example you set for others.

💚 LOYALTY — standing beside your teammates, your coaches and your club through the wins AND the losses.

💚 RESPECT — respecting your teammates, coaches, referees, opponents and supporters.

💚 SPORTSMANSHIP — playing the game the right way, whether you’re winning by 20 or losing by 20.

💚 COMMITMENT — showing up, putting in the work and being someone your team can depend on.

💚 TEAMWORK — understanding that basketball isn’t about one player… it’s about all of us working together.

💚 COURAGE & RESILIENCE — getting back up after mistakes, tough games and difficult moments.

💚 SELFLESSNESS — making the extra pass, celebrating someone else’s success and putting the TEAM before yourself.

💚 CHARACTER — being the same great teammate when nobody is watching as you are when everybody is watching.

Because the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER isn’t necessarily the player with the most points…

It’s the player who makes their TEAM BETTER.

The player whose teammates love going into battle with them.

The player who represents the Greenlight Titans values every time they pull on that uniform.

🏆 WINTER 2026 MVP 🏆

There can only be one for each team…

WHO WILL IT BE? 👀👀👀

⏰ 24 HOURS UNTIL WE FIND OUT!

Get ready Greenlight family…

💚🖤 PRESENTATION DAY IS ALMOST HERE! 🖤💚

Today’s the day! It’s grand final day. Play hard, play fair and good luck to all our players and coaches.
