First and most importantly, vale John Gill, Noosa Disc Golf Founder and cherished leader of the Noosa disc golf reprobates from 1996. Your impact is not forgotten and your dedication and contribution to the sport spanned a generation. You will be missed. 🙏😔
As for the rest of us, Mr Max Sayers grabbed another handicap win showing his continuing rapid improvement and tenacity for a game that is so easy to learn and so hard to master. Thanks to Disc Connection for keeping our prize bag stocked. 🙏
Speaking of Masters, well done Mr Long Johnson for taking out the MP40 in the Qld Open! Kin Kin shows again how much above its weight it punches.

Only one month late. July league day had 16 players get out in the beautiful weather for a great day of huckin.
Long Johnson didn’t break any records but still led the pack on the raw score and the handicap was nabbed by Jaclyn. Great job Jaclyn and we hope you enjoy the new plastic courtesy of Disc Connection

As usual it's $5 entry but free for new players. $1 optional ace pot. Meet at the Mill st entrance of Cooroora Creek Park. Registration from 8:30, tee off at 9.

Sincerest apologies for the delay on this month’s wrap up.
Such a cracker of a winters morning between bouts of rain on a freshly groomed course.
23 Huckers came and and enjoyed the best season in Queensland (IMHO) and flung plastic far and wide.
Massive congratulations to Max for getting his PB and taking a sweet Luna home for winning the handicap. Also honorable mention for Mr Trathen for nailing his PB as well.
Raw score went to the Long Johnson on a very tidy 8 under.
