✍️ LOCKED IN FOR 2027 ✍️

More good news for our netball program as three of our versatile superstars - Mia Thompson, Tanika Fava & Mia Burge - officially commit to the blue and gold for 2027!

Speedy, smart, and crafty on court, this trio brings incredible versatility to our teams with their ability to dominate in both the midcourt and the goal circle. While all three faced injury setbacks throughout the 2026 season, their resilience, drive, and determination to come back stronger showed true character.

Outstanding teammates who bring fantastic energy to the club, these girls have huge futures ahead. We can’t wait to watch their games continue to elevate in our Centenary year! Bring on 2027 💙💛

🏆 LEAGUE BEST & FAIREST 🏆

Huge congratulations to our U18s captain, Oscar Denny, on winning the Under 18 Div 2 League Best & Fairest last night! 💙💛

Since making the move over from South Barwon this season, Oscar has been nothing short of exceptional every single time he’s pulled on the blue and gold. Leading from the front all year, he’s set the benchmark week in, week out - earning a handful of Senior appearances along the way. We can’t wait to see him become a full-time fixture in our Senior side next year!

A massive shoutout as well to Riley Cotter, who polled brilliantly to finish tied for 3rd place on 12 votes! 👏

What a fantastic recognition for both boys and a proud moment for the club.

The season may be over, but the celebrations are just getting started.

Join us on Thursday 24th September at the Shell Club as we come together to reflect on the highs, the challenges, and everything in between from our 2026 season.

NEW RECRUIT | Welcome to NSFNC 💙💛

North Shore is thrilled to welcome back fourth-generation Seagull William Nicholls for the 2027 season.

Will is a North Shore junior and one-point player who has already built an impressive football résumé at a young age.

🏉 2026: 15 games with the Geelong Falcons & 5 Senior games with Geelong West Giants in the GFL
🏉 2025: 18 senior games with Lara as a bottom-aged U18
🏉 2024: U18 Division 1 football at just 16 years of age, plus runner up League B&F in U16 Division 1

And there’s plenty of Seagull blood running through the Nicholls family. Will’s dad Billy Nicholls Jnr was part of North Shore’s 1996 Senior Premiership, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Bill Snr, who also played in North Shore premierships. William’s great-grandfather was a true North Shore legend - known as the “Coleman of the Bush”, a leading goal kicker who went on to become President of the club.

Now it’s Will’s turn to add another chapter to the Nicholls family story at NSFNC!

✍️ LOCKED IN FOR 2027 ✍️

More exciting news for our netball program as four of our defensive pillars commit for 2027! We are stoked to announce that Maggie Van Bakkum, Hannah Goodall, Courtney West, and Edwina Wilkens have all re-signed for our Centenary year.

Every great team relies on a solid defensive end, and these four backstoppers hold down the goal circle week in, week out. Reliable under pressure, constant voices of encouragement, and true leaders on court, Mags, Han, Westy & Edi all bring their own unique approach to the bib.

We can’t wait to see what they achieve in 2027 💙💛

It wasn’t the boys day today but they kept their heads held high and they brought out the sunshine to play their final game for the 2026 season.

NEW RECRUIT | Welcome to NSFNC 💙💛

The North Shore Football Netball Club is thrilled to welcome Bailey Thompson to the Seagulls, locking him in on a two-year deal as a Playing Assistant Coach!

Bailey joins North Shore with a diverse football background, having played senior football in both Queensland and Victoria. His football journey has included time with Sherwood in the QAFL, before returning to Victoria to play for Camperdown in the Hampden Football Netball League.

Bringing elite senior experience, versatility, a strong competitive mindset, and valuable leadership off the field, Bailey is a massive addition to our coaching staff and playing group as we build towards a huge Centenary year.

Welcome to North Shore, Bailey! We can’t wait to see the impact you have at Windsor Park.
