THE COBRA GALS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! 🔥
For the second year running, our Senior Women are DIV 2 PREMIERS! 🏆

A nail-biting Grand Final against Drysdale SC saw Taleisha Di Blasio find the back of the net in the 88th minute to seal a 1–0 victory and bring the cup home to Corio Bay! ⚽

What a season, what a team, what an achievement! A massive congratulations to our incredible players, Coaches Peter Duque and Josh Dowling and everyone who has supported the girls along the way.

Another Cobra locked in! Andrew “Ranks” Rankin has re-signed for the 2026/27 cricket season.

A familiar face around the club and a handy bloke to have out in the middle, Ranks is ready to roll the arm over and get stuck into another summer of cricket with the Cobras.

We’re thrilled to announce that Hugh Moor has re-signed with Corio Bay SC for the 2026/27 season! 💙💛

A loyal and dedicated Cobra, Hugh has been a great part of the club and this season will be taking on the Cricket Coordinator role, helping lead our cricket program into 2026/27.

His commitment to Corio Bay both on and off the field is greatly appreciated, and we’re excited to see what the season ahead brings.

🏏 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT

Corio Bay SC is proud to announce Daniel McNamara as our Senior Men’s Cricket Head Coach for the upcoming 2026/27 season!

Daniel’s connection to Corio Bay runs deep. He first started playing cricket at the club when he was just 11 or 12 years old, and nearly 25 years later, he’s stepping up to lead our Senior Men’s program.

Having grown up around the club, Daniel knows what it means to wear the Cobras colours and brings plenty of experience, passion and commitment into the role.

It’s fantastic to see one of our own take the reins and lead the next chapter of senior cricket at Corio Bay.

Congratulations Daniel — we’re excited to have you leading the Cobras into 2026/27! 💙💛

🔵🟡 FOUGHT UNTIL THE VERY LAST KICK 🟡🔵

What a battle from our Div 2 Boys in yesterday’s Semi Final. A game that had absolutely everything and went right down to the very last kick. ⚽🔥

The Cobras fought through 90 minutes to finish 2–2, before an incredible extra-time battle finished 3–3.

With nothing separating the sides after 120 minutes, it came down to penalties, with Colac taking the shootout 5–3.

Regan Price – 104’

It wasn’t the result we wanted, but we couldn’t be prouder of these boys. The fight, determination and heart they showed represents exactly what Corio Bay is about. They left absolutely everything on that pitch and should hold their heads incredibly high.

To make finals and take a Semi Final all the way to penalties is a massive effort and something we are incredibly proud of as a club!

Wishing Daniel MacNamara a speedy recovery following his injury yesterday.

A huge thank you to everyone who travelled down and got behind the boys. Your support was unreal.

🔵🟡 THE COBRA GALS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! 🟡🔵

For the second year running, our Senior Women are off to the GRAND FINAL! 🔥

The match was an absolute battle in the heat, but the girls dug deep and gave everything they had right until the final whistle, securing a massive 1–0 win, with Susan Johnson finding the back of the net! ⚽

As the reigning premiers, the Cobra Gals now have the opportunity to go BACK-TO-BACK taking on Drysdale SC in the Grand Final!

Congratulations! An incredible effort from the entire squad and coaches. The heart, determination and fight shown out there was something to be proud of.
