BOSFC - Hounds

13/10/2026

Thank you, Wyatt, for everything you’ve given the Hounds over the past two seasons!! 🐶

Your impact on this club won’t be forgotten. Wishing you all the very best for what’s next. 🖤💙

13/10/2026

After a successful 2026 season, which saw our A Grade play off in the Grand Final and our club earn promotion to Division 5 next year, our A Grade Coach, Wyatt Mackinnon, has made the decision to step away from senior football.

We want to thank you for everything you’ve done for our club over the past two seasons. We wish you and Nadia all the best in what is no doubt a very exciting but also very busy stage of your lives.

Between work and life plans, footy sometimes has to take a back seat, even for those of us who love the game as much as we do. You, your family and your friends are always welcome at BOSFC - once a Hound always a Hound! 🖤💙

Please join us in thanking Wyatt and come along to our Best & Fairest Awards Night on October 24 to send Wyatt off in style 🙏

DIV 6 GRAND FINAL RESULT - BOSFC HOUNDS v. GAZA EAGLES

Well, the 2026 season is over and, while we didn’t get the ultimate prize, we couldn’t be more proud of the effort by everyone involved in the Grand Final.

We took it right up to Gaza, leading them at half time and still in touch heading in to the final term. They had to play their best footy to get over us, but unfortunately we just couldn’t get up in the last quarter, eventually going down by 33 points. We gave it a real shot, left nothing out on the field, and we earned a lot of respect.

To come from 8th last season and climb to 2nd in 2026 is a fantastic achievement, and with it comes the reward of a thoroughly deserved promotion to Div 5 next season 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who has played, coached, treated, volunteered, sponsored and supported us. You are all integral to the success we have achieved this season🙏

The planning and work begins now to prepare for the 2027 season!! 😃

And, while our on-field season is over, we still have one more event to come - The Hounds Best & Fairest Awards Night on Saturday October 24th! A chance to reminisce and celebrate the season and honour our individual award winners. Full details coming soon, please save the date🥇🥈🥉

🏆 DIV 6 GRAND FINAL - BOSFC HOUNDS v. GAZA EAGLES 🏆

Wow, what a ride this season has been!! And it all ends this Saturday….. in the GRAND FINAL!!! 😃

A fantastic victory over Elizabeth in last week’s Preliminary Final has seen us earn our spot in the big one against Gaza at Campbelltown Memorial Oval 🙌

Our Players, Coaches and Support Teams have done a brilliant job to get us here - an opportunity that doesn’t come around too often - to play in the decider for the ultimate prize! 🏆

The weather will be perfect. We need all the support we can muster, so please cheer loud and proud and get behind our underdog Hounds as we strive for another premiership!

It will be a triple header:
🕑 C Grade – 10:00 AM (Gaza v. Adelaide Lutheran)
🕛 Reserves – 12:15 PM (Trinity OS v. Gaza)
🕑 A Grade – 2:30 PM (Gaza v. BOSFC)

Adelaide Footy League entry fees apply for the Grand Final:
- Adults $15
- Concession $5 (must produce concession card)
- Children 15 and under are free

Car parking is accessible from the Lower North East Road or the Crowle Road entrances (see map) and there is no charge for parking.

Please also note that no alcohol can be brought into or out of the venue.

After the games we’ll head back to St. Dom’s then on to the Welly, hopefully for post match celebrations 🤞🍺🍾😃
