This month, we are hosting a couple of events in the 50m pool, including Underwater Hockey!

All events this month will be in the 50m pool (in 25m mode). Please check the lap swimming availability guide before visiting. Members and Multi-Visit Pass holders can access the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre (subject to availability) by checking in at customer service and presenting a valid card.

We're excited to announce the Community Milk Man initiative, proudly launched in collaboration with Fleurieu Milk Company.

Purchase or bring your clean 1L Fleurieu Milk Company glass bottle to our café, and let us refill it with delicious, fresh milk for $3.60 using our Fleurieu Milk tap system.

To kick things off, the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟱𝟬 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲. Get in early and be part of it.

By choosing to refill and reuse glass bottles, we’re reducing single-use plastic and supporting a more circular way of consuming. With locally sourced milk from Fleurieu Milk Company, this initiative also helps reduce transport impact, making every refill a small step toward a more sustainable future.

Adelaide Aquatic Centre is set for a busy couple of days with Norwood Swimming Club having its first meet at the new Adelaide Aquatic Centre on Friday, 15 May, between 6:30pm and 9pm, followed by the State Swim Carnival on Saturday, 16 May, from 12pm to 4pm.

During these times, no 50m lap swimming will be available. Members and visitors are encouraged to check lap lane availability on the website before coming in to help plan their visit.

We’re proud to continue improving accessibility across the Centre.

The Warm Water Pool now features a brand-new fixed pool hoist, making it even easier for more people to safely and comfortably enjoy time in the water. This addition reflects an ongoing commitment to creating a space where everyone in the community feels welcome and included.

Across the Centre, access is available in every pool through a combination of fixed and portable hoists, ramp and sloped entries, and the use of submersible wheelchairs. Accessible change rooms are also equipped with hoists to help make every visit as smooth and dignified as possible.

Because access to the water should be something everyone can experience.

Exercise Physiology has arrived at Adelaide Aquatic Centre, with a dedicated team here to support your health and movement journey.

Leading the service is Exercise Physiology Manager Mark George, alongside Exercise Physiologists Zac (right) and Vince (left). Together, they work with people managing chronic conditions, recovering from injury, or looking to build strength, mobility, and confidence.

Sessions are tailored to individual needs and can take place in the gym, in our warm water pools, or even at home. A range of funding options is available, including Medicare, private health, NDIS, Department of Veteran Affairs, as well as Workcover and Motor Vehicle Accident plans.

Aqua Sensory Play has landed at AAC!

We’re excited to welcome our littlest visitors to Aqua Sensory Play at Adelaide Aquatic Centre, starting Tuesday 5 May. A calm, engaging water-based experience designed especially for babies and toddlers aged 8 weeks to 3 years.

Held in our shallow, warm leisure pool, these sessions encourage little ones to explore, connect and learn through sight, sound and touch, using carefully selected sensory equipment in a safe and nurturing environment. From gentle tummy time to splashing discovery, every moment is designed to spark curiosity and confidence in the water.

Bookings are essential and spaces are limited, we can’t wait to see you poolside!
