🇱🇻 Est. 1926 Football Club.

On an Autumn day in 1925, with yet another football season about to begin, F.I. (Dolly) Grey, Senior Mathematics and Sports Master at Prince Alfred College was pondering on the future of the boys about to leave school. He was one of the quietest of men, exuding humility, manners impeccable and a quality of understanding the problems of those less fortunate than himself. Academically the most highly qualified member of staff. In addition to a Master of Arts degree, for a schoolmaster, he possessed a second and unusual qualification, that of a Master of Engineering. From this Great Man was borne The P.A.O.C.

🔴⚪ MAJOR SIGNING | WELCOME BACK TYSON BRAZEL!

The Reds are thrilled to announce the return of Tyson Brazel to Prince Alfred Old Collegians for the 2027 season!

A proven match-winner and one of the competition's most dangerous forwards, Tyson returns to Park 9 with an outstanding football résumé.

A Division 1 premiership player and leading goalkicker with PAOCFC, Tyson spent the 2026 season at Lucindale, following a successful stint at Yarraville Seddon, where he earned selection in the 2025 WFNL Division 1 Team of the Year.

With the Reds returning to Division 1 in 2027, Tyson's experience, leadership and firepower in front of goal will be a huge addition to our playing group.

Welcome back to the Reds, Tyson! 🔴⚪

A GRADE COACHING UPDATE

Prince Alfred Old Collegians Football Club advises that Ned McHenry has made the difficult decision to step down as A Grade Coach due to increasing work commitments outside of football.

While we are disappointed that Ned is unable to continue in the coaching role, we completely understand and respect his decision.

The Club would like to sincerely thank Ned for the time, energy and commitment he has given to the role and our playing group. His contribution throughout his time as A Grade Coach has extended well beyond match day, and we are incredibly appreciative of the impact he has had on our senior football program.

Under Ned’s leadership, the A Grade enjoyed a successful 2026 season, reaching the Grand Final and earning promotion back to Division 1. It was a significant achievement for our playing group and the Club, and one that Ned should be extremely proud of.

Ned remains a highly valued member of the PAOCFC community, and we look forward to his continued involvement with the Club.

The Club has commenced the process of appointing our A Grade Coach for the 2027 season and will provide a further update to the PAOCFC community in due course.
