Call out to armoured Knights that wish to be in a music video!

We have been reached out by a metal band that would like to have a knight feature in a music video they will be shooting. This will take place either in Bendigo or close to Melbourne.

The photos are a reference for what kind of style they are looking for. If you are interested and have similar kit please reach out to me (Steph Dare) and I will get you in touch with the band.

The usual carport entry has been blocked off. You can still enter from Atkins road or park on the other side of the field

Field update: its not under water! Game can go ahead!

Reminder if you don't feel up to running around in the wet the club rooms will be open for crafting tonight!

This week is the new start to the financial year!

This means there is a couple of things you need to remember for this week!

💫 Memberships! Please get you new memberships before coming to sign in.

⏳️ We will be starting our earlier time so sign in closes at 7:15pm and we start game at 7:30pm!

With rain all of this week if field play is cancelled or not we will have the club rooms open to those that wish to hang out and do arts and crafts instead of playing.

The Orgs of Bendigo swordcraft have been discussing potentially moving our games forward by half an hour.

If we implement this it will start as of next month.
This would look:
Sign in open - 6:30 - 7:15pm
Game - 7:30pm - 9:30pm

The reason we have been thinking to make this change is that we have noticed a lot of players cannot stay late be it for work, tired dont want to stay up late or just they need to get home at a decent time (out of towners)

we recognise that this may make it harder for some to get to the game on time but feel it may be better for the majority. (We can make arrangements for people that know they wont be able to get there by 7:15 for sign in)

Good afternoon Swordcrafters

As some of you know John Ronchi has decided to step down from all volunteer roles. He has been volunteering for almost 10 years with Swordcraft and is now taking a much needed step back to allow him to be a regular player.
From the rest of the Org team we would like to thank him for all the hard work he has done for the community. We wouldn't be able to run our games and create the events we have without people like John.
