🏆❤️💙🤍 A VERY PROUD PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE — RILEY CARTER 🤍💙❤️🏆

Tonight, I want to take a moment to recognise someone who makes me incredibly proud — our very own Riley Carter. ❤️

Riley has finished RUNNER-UP in the BJFL Best & Fairest with an outstanding 17 votes! 🏆👏

As President of the North Bendigo Junior Football Club, I honestly couldn’t be prouder of this young man and everything he has achieved.

Riley was given the incredible responsibility of being Captain of our Under 14s this season, and he embraced that role with maturity, respect, commitment and a genuine love for his teammates and his club.

But what makes me even prouder than the votes, the awards and the football achievements is the young man Riley is becoming.

Over the past couple of years, Riley has dedicated himself to North Bendigo. He has made some amazing choices, continued to grow, and shown that being part of a football club is about so much more than what happens on the field.

He supports his fellow clubmen.
He encourages his teammates.
He leads by example.
He respects those around him.
And when he pulls on that North Bendigo jumper, he plays with his heart firmly on his sleeve. ❤️🏉

Riley gives everything he has — not just for himself, but for his teammates, his coaches and the club he represents.

To finish Runner-Up in the BJFL Best & Fairest with 17 votes is an incredible accomplishment, and one that you should carry with enormous pride.

But Riley, I hope you know that your character means even more to us than your football ability.

Watching you grow over the years, watching you step up as a leader and watching you become someone your teammates can look up to is something that makes me incredibly proud as President of this club.

On behalf of the North Bendigo Junior Football Club, I want to personally say a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to every single volunteer who stepped up and went above and beyond to help us yesterday.

I understand how busy life is. Everyone has families, work, commitments and a million other things going on, so when people are willing to give up a couple of hours of their own time to come down and lend a hand, it genuinely means more to me and our club than I can put into words.

To those who helped yesterday — I appreciate the absolute s**t out of you guys! ❤️ You probably don’t realise just how much your help meant or what a difference those few hours made.

The truth is, without volunteers, we simply don’t have a junior football club. It takes a community of people willing to pitch in, help each other and do their bit to keep our club running and create these opportunities for our kids.

Because of everyone’s hard work and the success of yesterday, we are now in a fantastic position to make our end-of-year junior presentation and celebration something really special for our players and families. 🏆🎉

That is what all the hard work is ultimately about — giving our kids a club they can be proud of, creating memories, celebrating their achievements and making sure they have an amazing end to their season.

North Bendigo Junior Football Club is lucky enough to be hosting Junior Finals this Sunday, and we’re asking our wonderful parents, families, carers and supporters to please lend a hand.

We completely understand that everyone has busy lives, families and other commitments — but if you can spare just ONE HOUR on Sunday afternoon, it would make an enormous difference to our club.

We need volunteers to help with jobs such as working on the gate and assisting in the canteen so we can make sure the day runs smoothly and successfully.

Hosting finals is also a fantastic opportunity for our club to raise some much-needed funds. Every dollar we make goes straight back into supporting our junior players and helping with things such as end-of-year trophies, celebrations and the ongoing costs of running our club.

❤️ You don’t need to give us your whole afternoon — just one hour helps!
🤍 Bring a family member or friend along and lend a hand together.
💙 Every volunteer makes the workload lighter for everyone.

Junior football clubs simply cannot operate without volunteers. If everyone gives just a little bit of their time, together we can make Sunday a fantastic day for all the children and families attending the finals.

This Sunday, North Bendigo Junior Football Club is hosting Junior Finals, and we need the support of our amazing club community to help make the day a success!

We are looking for volunteers to help with:

🎟️ Gate duties – welcoming spectators and assisting at the entry gate
🍔 Canteen duties – helping serve food and drinks throughout the day

Even just ONE HOUR of your time would make a huge difference! 🙏

Hosting finals is a fantastic opportunity for our club to raise some much-needed funds. Every dollar we make goes straight back into supporting our junior players and our club, including helping us purchase end-of-year trophies and awards and putting towards our end-of-year celebration for the kids and families.

We understand everyone is busy, and we aren’t asking you to give up your whole Sunday. If you can spare just an hour, please put your hand up. Many hands make light work, and the more volunteers we have, the easier and more enjoyable the day will be for everyone.
