Mozzies love to hang out around water. To keep them away on a river or lake day, apply (and reapply) repellent regularly to all areas of exposed skin. Remember to apply repellent after sunscreen. Always read the label instructions.
Some mozzies in NSW carry viruses, like Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV). Avoiding bites is the best way to protect yourself.
