How do I prepare to teach a Pilates class? ππΆ
A dance and a sing, of course! π
Music on, energy up and a few quality middle-aged mum dance moves thrown in for good measure. ππ
Itβs my little pre-class ritual β getting myself moving, laughing and into the right headspace before everyone arrives.
Because teaching Pilates isnβt just about knowing the exercises. Itβs about the energy you bring into the room too. π
Any Age Pilates
At Any Age Pilates our philosophy is simple: build strength, improve mobility, and boost confidence through mindful, accessible Pilates.

Hello Spring πΈ
Thereβs something about the first day of spring that feels like an invitation to start fresh.
To try something new.
To be open to new experiences.
To move a little more, connect a little more, and see what the new season brings.
Hereβs to longer days, warmer weather and being open to whatβs next. πΈβοΈ

A flexible spine is a powerful thing.
Every time we move the spine through flexion, extension, rotation and lateral flexion, weβre encouraging strength, mobility and control that supports movement for years to come.
As a Pilates instructor, I have the privilege of helping people move well for life π

π Progress over perfection β always.
A beautiful mix of strength, mobility and release this morning π
We worked with the TheraBand to build strength with control, then slowed things down with the semi-foam roller to open through the chest and shoulders.
A little stronger, a little more open β and hopefully walking out feeling taller than when you came in. β¨

This weekβs Puppy Pilates starsβ¦ German Shepherd puppies! πΎ
Such a gorgeous interactive session, combining Pilates movement with plenty of puppy cuddles, play and connection.
Puppy Pilates really is the perfect mix of movement and mental wellbeing β a chance to move your body, switch off for a while and enjoy the pure happiness that puppies bring. π
And these little German Shepherds kept us on our toes! πΆπ. Why not try it for yourself or as a gift for someone you want to spoilβ¦. More classes coming soon. Keep an eye on the website for news of the next session. https://www.puppypilates.au/sydney-classes
People often ask us β we know what Pilates looks like, but what does the Strength part of Pilates X Strength actually look like?
This is it! πͺ
Functional, achievable strength work combined with the control, core work and movement we love in Pilates.
We keep a close eye on technique and form, helping you move well, choose the right level and get the most from every exercise as you build strength and confidence.
And the best part? We bring all the tools to you. Mats, weights, bands, balls and more β we mix things up each class, and you simply turn up ready to move.

Pilates β Strength β the best of both worlds.
What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon! πΆπ§ββοΈπ
Today I had the absolute joy of once again teaching Puppy Pilates alongside the cutest little crew of 7-week-old Spoodle Γ Toy Poodle puppies.
There was some Pilates πβ¦ with lots of puppy cuddles, wagging tails, little bursts of energy and more than a few distractions! π
Watching people come in and out of the classes and seeing the instant joy these puppies brought to everyone was such a wonderful thing to be part of. They were full of personality, energy and affection β and somehow made everyone smile.
Definitely a highlight of being a Pilates teacherβ¦.π
Pilates + puppies is a pretty hard combination to beat! πΎ
Small weights. Big difference. ππ₯
This morning we added ankle weights to our Sunday Pilates β a little extra challenge, a little more control, and a whole lot of strength!
