A little message from Skip

Some of you have been with me since the very first day of Team Justagirl in 2013, back when a few of us girls decided to take on offshore tournament fishing and screamed like schoolgirls the first time we hooked up. You've watched every comp, every donut day, every win, and every crazy adventure since. I'll never forget that, and I never could have done any of it without you.

So I wanted to tell you what's happening here, straight from me.

Team Justagirl isn't going anywhere. The crew will still hit the water for a couple of tournaments a year, doing what we've always done and flying the flag for the girls. That part of the story stays.

But something has grown out of it that I never saw coming. Fishing Trips with Skip has taken on a life of its own. More and more women have wanted to come fishing, take a few days off life, catch the fish they always dreamed of and find their people. It now takes up most of my days, and I love every minute of it.

So over the next little while you'll see this page become Fishing Trips with Skip. Same Skip, same crew you know, same heart, just the next chapter. Nothing you love is going anywhere, there's just a lot more of it coming. More trips, more adventures, more women discovering they can do far more than they ever thought.

Day 3 and we are absolutely COOKED! 😂🎣
Yep, three days of hard fishing will do that to you. We were all running on empty but Port MacDonnell had a few more awesome surprises left before she let us go. 🙌
8 more crays out of the pots — and not a moment too soon because the season closes right after us with the weather about to go absolutely pear shaped for the next few days. Talk about timing! 😏🦞
Dot pulled up a lovely School Shark 🦈 A few awesome Nannygai too — always welcome on the table. And then there was Kate — who went and caught her very first Blue Morwong! 🎉 After a 55kg Mako on Day 2 she comes back and ticks off another first. This woman. 😂🙌

We were home and tied up by 3pm and honestly? I think the boat was as tired as we were. lol
What a trip this has been. These awesome ladies showed up, fished hard, laughed hard, and will go home with full eskies and memories that are going to last a very long time. That's exactly what Fishing Trips with Skip is all about. 💙. Tomorrow we become tourists and a special night of presentations.
