Men’s 7s is coming to North Lakes. 🐆🏉

We’re gearing up for two big tournaments this October:

🏉 Brisvegas 7s — Saturday 24 October
🏉 Wynnum Brisbane Bay 7s — Saturday 31 October

Training is on every Thursday night at 6:30pm at Woodside Oval, North Lakes Leopards Rugby Union Club.

If you’re keen to play fast, physical, high-tempo 7s and be part of the Leopards squad, get down to training.

We’re putting together our U11, U13 and U15 Girls 7s teams, and with teams needing to be submitted by mid-September, we need player registrations finalised as soon as possible.

🏉 U11 — Ages 10 & 11 | Born 2015/2016
🏉 U13 — Ages 12 & 13 | Born 2013/2014
🏉 U15 — Ages 14 & 15 | Born 2011/2012

📅 Training starts: 1 October at 5:30pm
🔥 Season: Sundays, 11 October – 22 November
🏆 Finals: Friday, 27 November

What a night. What a team. What a moment for our club. 💜💛

For the first time in North Lakes Leopards history, a Senior team are GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS!

We could not be prouder of this playing group. The work, commitment and belief that has gone into this season — and the years of building that came before it — made Friday night incredibly special.

This result belongs to so many people.

To every player who pulled on the jersey this season, our coaches, managers and support staff — thank you for the hours, the effort and everything you have given to this group.

To our families and supporters who showed up, travelled, cheered and backed our boys all season — you were absolutely incredible.

To our committee and volunteers, thank you for everything that happens behind the scenes to make moments like this possible.

Thank you to the match officials and referee, and to QSRU for the competition and the opportunity for our players to take the field each week.

And to Riverside, thank you for a hard-fought Grand Final and congratulations on your season.

Our U6, U7, U8 and U9 Leopards are hitting the fields this Saturday for a huge day of junior rugby across Albany Creek, Pine Rivers, Caboolture and GPS! 💜💛

It’s a big morning of footy, plenty of games, plenty of energy and another chance for our young Leopards to get out there, have fun and represent the club with pride.

If you’re on the sidelines, bring the noise, cheer on every run, every tackle and every try, and show our juniors just how much support they have behind them.

We’re heading into the final training weekend for our youngest Leopards, so let’s finish the season on a high!

A quick reminder that the canteen will be closing early this week at 6:15pm.
We’re a little light on the ground, so if you’re around and can spare a few minutes, we’d really appreciate a hand in the canteen and with closing up. Every little bit of help makes a huge difference to our volunteer crew. 🙌
