🏅 MEDAL PRESENTATION – REUBEN 🏅

This week’s medal presentation goes to our gorgeous little Reuben 💙

Reuben is 4 years old and has been swimming with me for the past 2½ years. Each week he shares a private lesson with his little sister, having 15 minutes each, and watching how far this little man has come has been so incredibly special.

This term especially, Reuben has absolutely excelled ⭐️

At the beginning of the term, he wasn’t yet doing many of the things he is doing today, but little by little, at his own pace, everything has started to come together.

He is now swimming all by himself, paddling and kicking out to me, back floating, rolling over and finding his way to safety. He is swimming down to the bottom of the pool to collect rings and toys, jumping into the pool with confidence and most importantly, having SO much fun doing it 🥰

One of his absolute favourite things is diving down to collect the “stinky toys” off the bottom 😂 and now that he has realised just how much he can actually do by himself, the excitement and pride on his little face is priceless.

Every child develops at their own pace and sometimes it takes lots of tiny little steps before everything suddenly clicks. Seeing that happen for Reuben this term has brought me so much joy.

I look forward to seeing Reuben and his little sister every single week and watching them grow in confidence and ability.

What an achievement this little man has made this term 💙

🏅💙 THIS WEEK’S MEDAL GOES TO WILLIAM! 💙🏅

I am so incredibly grateful to have this gorgeous boy back swimming with me this term 🫶🏽

William swam with me a couple of terms ago and his family will often have a little break and then come back, so having him return this term has been such a delight. He has the most wonderful little personality, he is so cheeky, always makes me laugh and smile, and he absolutely LOVES his swimming lessons 💙

When I think back to where William was only around six months ago, I honestly cannot believe how far he has come. When he was learning to float and kick on his back, he would pinch onto my arm and hold me so tightly saying, “Don’t let me go!” 🥹 It was such a big hurdle for him to build that confidence and trust himself in the water.

Now look at him! 🤩

William is swimming freestyle arms ALL BY HIMSELF across the pool, keeping his head so still like a little statue, kicking beautifully on his back independently and now beginning to learn his backstroke arms as well 👏👏

Even at the beginning of this term, his freestyle arms were still staying underneath the water, and now he is bringing those arms up beautifully and actually SWIMMING! The improvement in such a short amount of time has been absolutely incredible.

He also loves having Mum and Dad watching him and you can just see how proud he is when he shows them what he can do 🙌🙌

For the past TWO WEEKS IN A ROW William has absolutely blown me away with his swimming. His confidence, effort and performance have been outstanding and I could not be more proud of how far this little man has come 💙

William, you have worked so hard and you absolutely deserve this week’s medal 🏅 Keep being your cheeky, funny little self and keep smashing those swimming goals!

You have been doing such an amazing job with your swimming and I am so proud of how far you have come 💙

Your little freestyle arms are looking absolutely beautiful coming right up and out of the water and you are now swimming all the way out to me on your own 🏊‍♂️👏

Your back kicks on the noodle are so straight and neat and of course one of your favourite things is going all the way down to the bottom of the pool to collect the toys 🤿🐠

You have worked so hard Finny and you really deserved this medal 🥇

☀️🏊‍♀️ SUMMER SWIMMING LESSONS – TERM 4 BOOKINGS OPENING NOW! 🏊‍♂️☀️

I’m currently putting together my Term 4 Summer Season timetable, which will begin in October after the school holidays.

We have now heard the exciting news that Pioneer Swim Centre is expected to reopen, so all of my pool-based lessons will be moving back over to Pioneer for Term 4. 💦

I will also continue offering mobile home swimming lessons for families who have their own pools, while families who don’t have a pool at home will be able to have their lessons with me at Pioneer Pool.

I already have a two-page callback/waiting list and spaces are filling very quickly, so if you are a previous Amy’s Mobile Swim School family wanting to return for the summer season, please send me a message this week so I can start working everyone into the timetable.

• Your child/children’s names
• Preferred day/s and times
• Your home address if requesting mobile lessons
• Whether you require Pioneer Pool lessons instead

If you are already booked in with me this term and would like to continue next term, it is very important that you message me to let me know you would like to hold your current place. This will give you the best opportunity to keep your spot before I begin offering available places to families on the waiting list.

I will be working on the timetable throughout this week and will do my very best to accommodate everyone, but places are limited and I don’t want my current or returning families to miss out.

🥇 CONGRATULATIONS FRANKIE – THIS WEEK’S MEDAL WINNER! 🥇

A huge congratulations to beautiful Frankie for winning this week’s medal! 💕🏊‍♀️

Frankie started swimming with me last term and has continued into this term, and the progress she has made in such a short time has been absolutely wonderful to watch.

When Frankie first started, she was very frightened of the water. She didn’t want to put her eyes or face in, found breathing in the water difficult and would sometimes cough or feel like she was going to gag. She would hold onto me very tightly for reassurance.

Fast forward to today and what a difference! 🌟 Frankie is now confidently swimming out to me, paddling her arms and kicking all by herself! We are also working on kicking on her back and beginning to learn backstroke.

One of the most rewarding things is seeing the pride on Frankie’s face when she achieves something new. You can see her confidence growing every week, and it brings me so much joy as her swimming teacher. 💗

She now absolutely loves her swimming lessons, especially diving down to collect the sinking toys — definitely one of her favourite things! 😂🐠

Frankie is such a quiet, sweet and pleasant little girl who always finishes her lesson with beautiful manners. It has been an absolute pleasure having Frankie and her family join Amy’s Mobile Swim School.

Well done, Frankie! 🥇👏 I am so proud of how far you have come already. Keep up the amazing swimming, little superstar! 🌟🏊‍♀️💕

🏊‍♀️ MAKE-UP LESSON REMINDER – TODAY 🏊‍♂️

Hi families, just a friendly reminder that we have make-up lessons running today.

These make-up lessons have been specifically arranged around the pool’s availability as well as my own availability, and the required pool/lane space has been booked to accommodate everyone.

If you have been allocated a make-up lesson and do not attend, unfortunately the lesson will be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled again.

This is especially important for GROUP make-up lessons, as these have been organised specifically to allow multiple children to complete their outstanding lessons together.

Thank you so much for understanding and for helping me keep make-up lessons organised and fair for all families. 🩷🏊‍♀️
