Hi I was randomly searching my name looking for unrelated detail and surprised to see the photo of me with the gummy shark posted recently a little context, I have been fishing that spot for 23 years. sometimes oftetn sometime not so frequently, these days I do it land based. 3 years ago I took youtuber Luke Falzon out for an early season try (he wasn't in town long) we had a great night and just as we were about to pack up, got our target species. they get bigger than this but the following is my best one I think.

1. Super short trip from Hoxton Park airfield
2. 3 or 4 blokes sharing the cost
3. the pilot was a fisho so the helo stayed all day

Thanks Jim, that's the final straw. For years I've defended professional fishos – excepting the tiny minority that abuse the resource. The kingie jiggers at Mowarry Point throwing hundreds of dead undersized kings overboard at the end of a session – because to release them might scare fish in the school. The Wooli leadliners catching 770 kilos of kings before 10AM - in a marine park. I was such a friend to the industry I was invited by the head of the professional fishing association to join a meeting with the head of NSW Fisheries. And what do I get for being fair? Told I'm gonna be bashed up at the boat ramp. Death threats from pro fishos **wives** at Eden. It's a shame that trash like you have spoiled things for pros but from now on this is a rec fishing page only.
