BIG NEWS! Arena Australia joins the OWS Series! 🤝

The wait is over… we’re excited to officially welcome Arena Australia as the Event Partner of the Swimming WA Open Water Swimming Series for the next three years!

Arena has been a huge part of swimming at every level, and we’re so excited to have them supporting the growth of open water swimming in WA.

We can’t wait to see what the next three years bring. 🙌

JOSIE PAGE HAS DONE IT! 💙

On 3 July, WA open water swimmer Josie Page achieved what few swimmers around the world ever accomplish... successfully conquering the iconic English Channel crossing.

Completing approximately 50km between England and France in an incredible 9 hours and 54 minutes, Josie took on one of the world’s toughest open water challenges, battling cold water, tides, currents and ever-changing conditions.

Her incredible swim also places her among Australia’s marathon swimming greats, becoming the seventh Australian woman to complete the solo English Channel crossing in under 10 hours.

Just months ago, Josie was volunteering at WA’s Big Ocean Relay while preparing for this once-in-a-lifetime challenge. Now she can proudly add English Channel swimmer to her incredible open water journey.
