Our main football focus is on developing a player's game intelligence, and their technical skills in the context of the game.

We believe a technical player is someone that is an intelligent decision maker, encompassing awareness and execution. We believe a complete footballer is socially competent, well disciplined and respectful, that they are an overall good person as well as a skilful player. The most important skill a child can develop is self-efficacy, the ability to motivate oneself. We believe that the right cultu

re and support, helps the children learn to take responsibility. At the academy we make allowances for children to have more autonomy and learn problem solving, rather than providing all the answers for them. Our aim is to take you to the next level in every aspect, we are not only a football school but also a school of life. We provide the perfect environment for learning to each individual player through our small groups, settings, session design and culture. It is well documented that players achieve maximum learning in the 4v4 setting and these numbers correctly replicate any given moment in any game. Not only does this guarantee maximum touches on the ball, but also means that players are always involved in every single moment of all games, on and off the ball. The small group model also assures closer attention from the coach and allows for more attention to detail in the player’s learning. More possession means more learning opportunities, and more enjoyment. We provide an organic learning environment for our children, and an education that is age specific. We also work with the players at their respective levels. Fun first, learning second, is the mantra to our programs, if the child does not enjoy their training then their learning is hampered. We are urgently trying to arrest the ominous dropout rate of children in sport, which currently is 70% by the age of 11. The advanced players in our program receive the highest level of coaching from our qualified coaches. The small group model creates a strongly focused environment, and our program consists of components that are still individual focused. Our goal is to develop better footballers in this country, not better teams, “Shaping better players for the future”. Results aren’t our aim, individual improvement is.

🏆🎉 End of Season Awards, U14 Division 2! 🎉🏆

What a season it has been for our U14 Division 2 boys, and Coach Izzy took the time to recognise some outstanding individual contributions with these end of season awards. A great touch by a great coach, showing leadership and standards to the very end.

🧤 Golden Glove, Sam Curnow, for his incredible goalkeeping abilities all season.

📈 Most Improved, Bosco Law, for his outstanding improvement across the season.

🤝 Players' Player, Antonio Egan-Fiander, awarded by his own teammates for his dedication and performance.

🏅 Coach's Award, Inesh Pruthi, for his outstanding effort and determination.

Congratulations to all four boys, and to the entire squad on a fantastic season.

🌟⚽ Man of the Match, Jayden Yao ⚽🌟

A huge congratulations to Jayden Yao, named Man of the Match in our U13 Division 1 Grand Final win!

Jayden spent 4 years in our academy, from 2018 to 2022, developing the foundations that were on full display in this performance.

And what a way to cap it off. Jayden's wonder goal saw him shift onto his less preferred left foot and place the ball top bins from outside the 18 yard box. An absolute worldie, and thoroughly deserving of the Man of the Match honours. 🔥🏆

🏆🎉 Premiers AND Champions, U13s! 🎉🏆

What a season it has been for our U13s, sealing the double with a commanding 2 - 0 win in the final to finish as both Premiers and Champions!

This is a team that has grown over several seasons, building the standard year on year, and they have now firmly established themselves as the benchmark in this age group. A tremendous effort from every player who has been part of this journey.

A massive congratulations to Coach Robbie, in just his second season with the team. Robbie has done a fabulous job developing this group and pushing them to reach a high standard. What makes this even more special is Robbie's own story, once an academy player himself, he has returned to give back to the next generation after a strong playing career at the highest level.

Full circle, and thoroughly deserved. Congratulations to the boys and Coach Robbie on an outstanding season. 🏆⚽

⚽❤️ More Than Football, A Lesson That Lasts ❤️⚽

Sometimes the best measure of a coach isn't what happens on the pitch, it's what stays with a player long after they've left.

We recently received a message from a parent whose son, Eli, had to write a school speech on "the most powerful thing I've learned." He chose ACES, our Justfootball program standard, taught to him and his teammates by Coach Raaj during his time at Ryde Panthers.

Attitude. Concentration. Energy. Sportsmanship.

We lead ACES, but it is the players who define what it looks like and hold each other accountable to it, week in, week out. Eli wrote about how his team learnt to always be respectful, to listen and learn, to bring full energy to every session, and to be a good sport, win or lose, with teammates, referees and opponents alike.

The most powerful part? Eli left Ryde Panthers over a year ago, and these lessons still stay with him today, on and off the field.

This is exactly why ACES sits at the heart of everything we do. We are not just building footballers, we are building character, values and young people who carry these lessons well beyond the game. Thank you, Coach Raaj, for the impact you continue to have. 👏⚽

🌟🏆 A Coach Who Earned Every Bit of It, Congratulations Izzy 🏆🌟

We are so incredibly happy for Coach Izzy on winning the U14 Division 2 Grand Final with her Ryde Panthers Football Club team, a thoroughly deserved achievement for a coach who takes so much pride in her craft.

Izzy has been part of the Justfootball family since 2018, and her journey with this group of boys is one worth celebrating. We remember the early days, when she had to work hard to earn the respect of the group. But she pushed through, stayed true to herself, and steadily built a strong team culture from the ground up.

Fast forward to today, and the respect from players and parents alike is clear to see. She has delivered not just a Grand Final win, but a group of boys who trust her, believe in her, and play for her.

This one is thoroughly deserved, Izzy. Congratulations on everything you have built. 👏⚽

As our PAS Program wraps up for the season, we cannot help but reflect on just how special this year has been.

Across every age group, we have seen huge success in the way of player development. Players who have grown in confidence, sharpened their technical ability and developed a deeper understanding of the game week on week.

What makes us most proud is the identity of our teams. Every week, our players have showcased the Justfootball and Ryde Panthers Football Club brand and style of play, on the ball, composed, direct, and always looking to play with purpose.

To every player, parent, and coach who has been part of this season, thank you. The standard you have all set has been outstanding, and it sets us up perfectly for what is to come.

What a moment for Josh, stepping up from U13 Division 2 to play for our U14 Division 1 team in a must win game on the weekend, and scoring the equaliser with his very first touch.

A clinical finish, made possible by a moment of individual brilliance from Ryan C, who created the opportunity out of nothing.

This is exactly what our program is about, players stepping up, backing themselves, and delivering when it matters most. Brilliant work from both boys. 👏⚽

⚽🎥 U10 PAS 1 Blue, 2v2 Wave Game 🎥⚽

Great work from our U10 PAS 1 Blue team going through their paces in this 2v2 wave game.

In the early years, we place a heavy focus on 1v1 and transitional games, with a strong emphasis on dribbling, taking on defenders and individual development. We still bring in the team element too, so players learn to identify overload advantages and how to use the extra man, whether that's beating a player or releasing a teammate.

You can see it all here. A good first touch to go beyond an over-committed defender. Players who are so competent on the ball that the defender doesn't dive in, buying valuable time to make decisions. And an ability to attack space when it's on, driving with speed and going direct.

This is what individual development looks like in action.
