Our Mens & Womens pairs champions are representing the club at the 2025/26 NSW Champion of Club Champions Pairs next week. We wish both teams all the very best. If you can make it down to Merrylands or Cabra to cheer them on, they'd love the support!

So that's a wrap for this year's Pennant season. Grade 7 finished off in style yesterday with an impressive 9-1 victory against Warringah. This left them in second place in the ladder, not quite enough to make it through to the finals but a strong performance across the season.

Unfortunately the other grades couldn't match the sevens' performance. Grade 3 struggled to find consistency and ended up in third place. Grade 5 had a much tougher time of it, only managing one win and finishing at the foot of the ladder.

A big thank you to everyone who represented the Bears this season. While we didn't have the success we hoped for it has been great to see new players starting their Pennant careers and the cameraderie across all the teams.

Round 7 Pennants for the 7's - Saturday 16 May 2026
This is their final round for this season.

What a glorious morning for bowls, clear blue skies and the warmth of the autumn sun. ☀️

As we approach the end of this year's Pennants season, Grade 5 are away at Chatswood and Grade 3 are hosting St. Ives at home for their final match. Grade 7 are also at home today taking on Turramurra with one to play.
