What a weekend at the School Sport Australia National Championships in Canberra!
Hope H and Oscar H both hit the track representing their school and state with grit, heart and true sporting spirit.
π Hope H fought through illness, sadly having to withdraw from the 1500m, but still delivered an incredible 5th place in Australia in the U12 800m. She then dug deep again for the medley relayβcoming home with a national silver medal!
π Oscar H was selected for the 1500m and received a late call-up for the 800m. He made the most of every opportunity, putting down two strong, competitive runs to finish 14th in Australia for the 800m and 12th in the 1500m in the U11 category.
Two outstanding young athletes with big futures ahead.
Super proud of both of them! π
