Northcote Swim Club

And just like that out weekend of racing is done.

After many many pbs and laps swum, we’ve got some very tired swimmers coming on the flight home to Melbourne.

Congrats to:
- Harper for his 100 IM: 1.05.66 (0.60 second pb), his 100 Free: 59.28 (0.29 second pb) and his 50 Breast: 33.49 (0.26 second pb)
- Lulu for her 100 Back: 1.27.37 (0.40 second pb)
- Sam for his 100 Back: 1.20.63 (1.98 second pb)
- Analena for her 50 Breast: 30.96 (0.57 second pb)

Terrific effort from our girls in the 4x100 Free relay, for swimming in a time of 4.47.48, with a 3.50 second pb!

We’re so so proud of our swimmers, and can’t wait to see what else is to come from them.

There’s only one session to go now!

More racing and more smiles seen all round - with no Disqualifications either!

- Harper for his 100 Free: 58.45 (1.12 second pb), 200 IM: 2.32.04 (0.70 second pb) and for his 50 Fly: 29.24 (0.45 second pb)
- Analena for her 50 Fly: 34.11 (0.17 second pb)

And to both of our Relay teams for the 4x50 16& Under Girls and Boys relays. The girls swimming a time of 2.02.47 with a pb of 0.75 seconds, and the boys swimming a time of 1.57.59 with a 2.45 second pb!

These swimmers continue to amaze us and make us proud here at the club. Keep up the great work! 💛💙

Day one all done!

As the day just kept on going, more and more impressive swims were swum.

- Sam for his 100 Fly: 1.17.55 (2.47 second pb)
- Analena for her 100 Fly: 1.21.72 (5.23 second pb)
- Hayley for her 50 Back: 35.89 (0.13 second pb)
- Elsie for her 100 Breast: 1.34.46 (1.17 second pb)
- Miles for his 100 Breast: 1.23.03 (2.24 second pb)
- Otis for his 100 Breast: 1.28.60 (0.86 second pb)

We also had both our Girls and Boys 4x50 Medley relays swim PBs! With the girls racking up a 1.85 second pb at 2.27.03 and the boys with a 1.92 second pb at 2.15.35.

First Session of the weekend all done!

Congratulations to all swimmers and especially Analena who swam her State 100 free (1.08.11) and 100 IM (1.18.59) times this morning!

And after a delayed, cancelled and further delayed flight… our team has finally arrived in Tasmania!

Tonight our club had our AGM and presentation night with lots of trophies and fun to be had.

Smiles all round with basketball, table tennis and the presentation of our incredible Tasmanian state team of 12 swimmers!

Big thanks to one of our very talented swimmers who created the perfect cake and accompanying macarons to celebrate our busy club.

Friday morning swim training at Reservoir followed by a special surprise for coach Matilda - handmade and perfectly decorated birthday cake and chocolate brownies for breakfast :)
