UMPIRES EDUCATION FORUM!
This years Umpires Education Forum will again be hosted at Newport Baseball Club. There will be a specific program for beginners on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th.
The cost will be $15 per day on the Saturday and Sunday. Lunch and refreshments will be included throughout the Forum.
Please consider it! Fitzroy needs more qualified umpires!

⚾ Play Women’s Summer Baseball at Fitzroy! ⚾

Whether you’re brand new to the game, returning to baseball, or an experienced player ready for a new challenge, we’d love to have you join us this summer.

After finishing top of the ladder during last year’s regular season, we’re excited to introduce a NEW Women’s State League Team alongside our Regional North West Team!

The State Team offers higher-level competition and a chance to challenge yourself and develop your game, while the Regional Team provides a fun, welcoming environment to build skills and enjoy baseball with friends.

There’s a place for women players of all experience levels at Fitzroy! ⚾

Come down, meet the team and get involved at preseason training:

Whether you’re returning to the club or keen to give baseball a go for the first time, come down for a fun morning of training, games and a sausage sizzle! Caravans StrikeZone Sports Victoria will be there for merch!

Fitzroy Baseball Club warmly welcomes our new pitching coach Kodai Hamaya! Kodai Hamaya
He is a Japanese left-handed pitcher, drafted by the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in 2013. After appearing in NPB for Rakuten and Yokohama DeNA, he continued his career through Japan’s independent leagues and overseas baseball in Mexico, Italy, Australia and the Middle East. His international experience, left-handed pitching and adaptability have made him a distinctive figure in the global baseball community.
