One last Short Course States Shoutout! ❤️💙

A huge congratulations to Natasha, who was awarded the Peter Bowen Pain Development Trophy for Female Age Swimmer of the Meet (Points Gained).

Natasha had a massive three days, competing in 12 events across the meet. An incredible effort and an award very well deserved. We’re so proud of you, Natasha, and we think you’ve definitely earned that week off!

And one final result worth celebrating…

KTSC finished 4th overall, just 135.5 points behind Norwood in 3rd. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Not that we’re competitive or anything… but we’ve got you in our sights now, . 👀🤣

Short (well, as short as 5km can be!), sharp and shiny for Sophie and Louis in Darwin this morning!

Some fantastic swimming at the NT Open Water Championships, with Louis finishing 7th in the Open Men’s 5km and Sophie taking 2nd in the Open Women’s 5km.

Amazing results from both of you. Congratulations! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Now for the important part… enjoying a little Darwin warmth before heading back home to Adelaide! ❤️☀️💙

Open water swimmers are a special kind of swimmer. Five kilometres, no lane ropes, no black line to follow and a whole lot of water ahead of you!

And if you choose this slightly crazy side of swimming, you also have to be prepared to travel to find somewhere to race. This time, that means all the way to Darwin!

Today Sophie and Louis take on the 5km at the NT Open Water Championships, part of the Australian Open Water Cup.

Good luck Soph and Louis. Swim well, enjoy the experience and know that even though we can’t be there, we’ll all be cheering loudly for you back here in Adelaide! ❤️💙
