The Adelaide Footy League is delighted to welcome 9 News Adelaide News Presenter and award-winning journalist Alice Monfries as our newest Ambassador.
Alice joins our Patron, Police Commissioner Grant Stevens, and Ambassadors Ben Hook and Tom Rehn, in representing and supporting the Adelaide Footy League and our community.
Alice Monfries is a News Presenter and award-winning journalist at Nine.
She presents Nine Adelaide's Weekend News alongside her co-host Will McDonald and also presents the network’s Afternoon News bulletin.
Over her 13-year career with Nine, she’s covered breaking news and major events right across Australia, from floods and bushfires to politics and crime, Royal visits and pageants.
Her career highlight to date was serving as Nine's correspondent for the Tham Luang Cave rescue in Thailand, covering the international efforts to save 12 young boys and their soccer coach after 18 days underground.
She has worked across television, radio and newspapers, with accolades including Best TV Broadcaster (SA Press Club Awards) and Young Journalist of the Year (SA Media Awards).
She is also a Podcast Host, Event Host and Online Learning/Masterclass facilitator for Future Women, a digital community supporting thousands of Australian women in their pursuit of success, and committed to achieving gender equality in Australian workplaces.
She is an experienced MC and Event Host, and mum to two adorable youngsters, Max and Grace.
Alice is a Crows supporter and a proud member of the Unley Jets community, where her son Max has just enjoyed his first season in Under 7s.
