Ian Henderson secured the title with a 3&1 victory over Andrew Nash in the final.

Well done to Ian on his win and Andrew on reaching the final, and thank you to all Members who competed in this year’s Men’s Senior Club Championship.

Congratulations to our 2026 Junior Champions!

Some closely contested finals saw two matches decided on the 19th hole, making for an exciting finish to our Junior Championships.

Junior Boys’ Champion – Jack Leonard defeated Indie Danger 3&2.

Junior Girls’ Champion – Ava Strazdins defeated Taya Comas on the 19th hole.

Junior Boys’ Plate Champion – Daniel Wang defeated Henry Styles on the 19th hole.

Well done to our winners and runners-up, and thank you to all juniors who took part in this year’s Championships!

Entries are open for the 2026 Glenelg Vardon Events, to be played on Sunday, 20 September.

Four 18-hole stroke play events will be contested:

• Brian Ferris Memorial Trophy
• Glenelg Women’s Vardon
• Eric Scovell Trophy for Junior Boys
• Anne Smerdon Trophy for Junior Girls

The day will commence with a 7:45 am sh***un start, with entry fees including lunch and prizes.

Entries close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 16 September. No late entries will be accepted.

Congratulations to Glenelg Member Nick Wake on winning the Super Senior Gross title at the South Australian Senior Amateur.

Nick also finished runner-up in the Senior Gross, just five shots behind the winner.
