Rolling into progress! Forward and backward rolls help gymnasts become comfortable rotating, tucking and transferring weight through different parts of the body. 🤸‍♂️💫

These early techniques create important foundations for future skills while teaching control through every stage of the movement. 💙❤️

Run. Jump. Roll. Repeat! The tumble track gives our Junior Gymnasts space to run, jump, roll and link movements together.

Its springy surface helps children explore new actions with confidence while developing rhythm, coordination and strong movement foundations. 🤸💙❤️

What a National Clubs Championships for Waverley! ❤️ 💙

An incredible few days of competition, with our Level 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and International gymnasts giving us so much to celebrate!

From podium finishes and fantastic team results to new skills, personal bests and some seriously impressive performances on the competition floor, our Waverley athletes absolutely did us proud. 🌟

But one of the biggest highlights was seeing the support, encouragement and team spirit across our entire WGC contingent – cheering each other on and representing Waverley brilliantly from start to finish.

A huge congratulations to all of our gymnasts and coaches on an amazing National Clubs campaign. What a team! 🙌

Disability friendly... Only one week to go! ⭐

Our very first Sunday Allstars sessions are almost here, and we’re looking forward to welcoming a new group of gymnasts to WGC Oakleigh! 💙❤️

Beginning Sunday 11 October, Sunday Allstars gives children and young people aged 5–18 of all abilities the opportunity to experience gymnastics in a fun, inclusive and sensory-friendly environment.

Whether it’s discovering a new skill, building confidence, exploring our gymnastics equipment or simply experiencing the joy of movement, every child has the opportunity and space to move, learn, achieve and shine in their own way. 💫🙌

With children in small groups of four, and optional 1:1 support, our coaches can provide an individualised experience that recognises each gymnast’s strengths and encourages them to explore what they can do.

📅 Every Sunday from 11 October until 20 December
⏰ 2:30–3:25pm or 3:30–4:25pm
📍 WGC Oakleigh Campus – Oakleigh Recreation Centre
