A big thank you to all of these members for putting their hands up to help run the club this season. We sincerely appreciate those who are continuing in their existing roles, and a special welcome and thank you to our new committee members for stepping up and getting involved. A club simply cannot operate without the dedication and support of volunteers, and with such a great team in place, we look forward to a successful season both on and off the field.

VALE BLAKE SWANSON

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we wish to inform the passing of Blake Swanson.

Blake made a massive impact during his time at Olinda Cricket Club, from coming through the junior ranks to becoming our 1XI Captain. Blake was a very talented opening bowler, achieving many accolades such as Don Jones Medallist, 3x John Clancy Medalist and a member of the inaugural 2XI premiership team.

We would like pass our condolences onto Blake's friends and family and you will forever be in our hearts

🏏 JOIN OLINDA CRICKET CLUB THIS SEASON! 🏏

Get the kids active, outdoors, and learning new skills right here in the hills! Online registrations officially open this August for boys and girls of all abilities.

📋 TEAMS OFFERED THIS SEASON:

🚀 Woolworths Cricket Blast (Ages 5–10) – Starts November!

⚡ Super 7s (Great transition to match play)

🏏 Under 12s, Under 14s & Under 16s

🗓️ Blasters Schedule: Saturday mornings, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

🎒 Gear: No gear? No worries! OCC provides training and match equipment for beginners.

🔥 COACH WANTED: Our November Blasters program depends on finding a fantastic coach or parent helper. If you can volunteer to run these fun Saturday sessions, please reach out!

Another home grown talent returning, having spent the last few seasons between Upwey and FTG Footballers’ 1st XI bowling stocks.
Rarely seen with bat in hand but commonly spotted with a b**r post match Patty will slot back in perfectly!
Patty also joins the senior 6’3+ group 😮‍💨
