Ourimbah United Football Club is a sporting club located in Ourimbah on the New South Wales Central Coast, Australia. The club was formed in 1981 and currently has over 600 members. Ourimbah is one of 23 other clubs which participate within the Central Coast Football Winter Competition League. In 2008 the club updated their original emblem to a more modern design, featuring a swooping falcon. It was at this point that the club became known as the Ourimbah Falcons. Each year the club is looking to expand and grow stronger. The club welcomes all new members and encourages those from the local community to join the club and represent the mighty falcons. A brand new amenities building was opened in 2013, after the club received a generous sum of money under the NSW State Government’s Building Partnership Grants Program, thanks to the hard work of local MP Chris Spence and club committee members.

Ourimbah Football Club is looking forΒ passionate, committed and development-focused coachesΒ to join our Women’s program for theΒ 2027 season.
We’re seeking coaches for ourΒ Women’s Division 1 and WAA2 teamsΒ who are keen to workΒ collaboratively with each other and alongside our current Women’s coachΒ to create a connected, supportive and development-focused coaching environment across our senior Women’s teams.
But it’s about more than just our senior squads. 🌱
We want toΒ develop a strong pathway for our junior players, helping young women progress through the club and creating opportunities for them to develop and transition into senior football.

EOIs NOW OPEN FOR WOMEN’S DIVISION 1 & AA2

Ourimbah FC is inviting players to register their interest for our Women’s Division 1 and AA2 squads for the 2027 season.
We’re looking for players who are committed, coachable, team-focused and keen to develop their football within a connected Women’s program.
Our AA2 and Division 1 squads will train closely together, creating opportunities for players to develop, challenge themselves and progress through the pathway.

OURIMBAH FC WOMEN’S DIVISION 1 – GRAND FINAL

What a game!

On a hot Sunday afternoon, Ourimbah and Avoca put on an entertaining and hard-fought Grand Final for the spectators.

It was a battle right to the very end, with both teams leaving everything on the field. After 90 minutes, the scores were locked, and the game went into extra time. Unfortunately, we went down 3–2 in extra time.

While the result wasn’t what we wanted, we couldn’t be prouder of this team and everything they have achieved throughout the season.

What a season. The core of this team was formed in 2016, and we have kept the group together despite some of us living an hour away from the OUFC home.

As per usual we had a few changes this year with some players hanging up the boots and bringing in some younger faces to complement our β€œexperienced” squad.

This season we had one of the closest competitions I can remember. On the final matchday we could have finished as high as 2nd or as low as 5th. Needing a win to qualify for the top 4 we faced a strong Kanwal side that had beaten us earlier in the season and were certainly motivated to do the same again. Fortunately, we came away with the win which snuck us into 3rd place. Qualifying for the finals by 2 points.

A tough semi-final followed against a strong Berkeley side we had both won and lost to by a goal in both previous meetings. We came away with the win in a tough fought 2-1 match.
On grand final day I have never seen the team more motivated for a game. We had our whole team there an hour before kick-off (highly unusual). We faced a young East Gosford side who had made their way into 4th spot on the final day of the season and had knocked off a strong Wyoming side who had finished 1st.

We took the lead around 20 minutes in and despite periods of dominance throughout the game we could not convert our chances and held onto a slim 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

Hot conditions and facing a young side had the momentum of the game shift in East Gosford’s favour. A man of the match performance in the midfield by Paddy Nagle and an unreal performance by Matt Laing in goal managed to keep the opposition scoreless. It was a combination of relief and elation as the final whistle sounded.

A huge thankyou to Scott Wedesweiler, Tony Ussher and everyone from the 35’s, 45’s and MAA7 who helped out at multiple points during the season to help us keep a team on the park and get across the line.

We’ve loved watching these young footballers grow in confidence, develop their skills and most importantly, have fun playing the game they love. πŸ™Œ

Saturday mornings were full of energy, big smiles, great goals, plenty of teamwork and lots of fun! πŸ’™
