⛳ Quick Course Update
Hi everyone,
Just a quick update on our planned course renovations. Unfortunately, our contractor has had an issue come up and won’t be able to get to us this week as planned.
The good news is the course will remain OPEN this week. 👍
We’re now looking at getting the renovation work underway next week and will let everyone know the new closure dates as soon as they’re confirmed.
Sorry for the change of plans, and thanks everyone for your patience and understanding. We’re looking forward to getting this work done and continuing to improve the course for everyone to enjoy. ⛳

TWILIGHT GOLF IS BACK AT OUSE! 🌅🏌️
With the days getting longer, Thursday Twilight Golf is returning to Ouse Country Club, with our first round on Thursday 8 October 2026.
🏌️ 9-Hole Stableford
🕓 Main tee-off: 4pm–6pm
👉 Can’t make 4pm? You’re welcome to tee off earlier on Thursday.
💰 Members $10 | Non-members $15
We’ll mix things up between the front 9 and back 9, so check the window beside the green-fees box each week for that round’s details.
🎯 HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT
$1 from every competition entry goes into the jackpot. If nobody gets an ace, it carries over and grows each week! If it remains unclaimed at the end of the Twilight Golf season, the funds return to Ouse Country Club.
📋 Results will be posted in the clubhouse and on our page Thursday night. Please make sure your scorecard is signed and your contact details are clearly written down so we can contact you if you’ve already headed home.
🍻🍽️ And there’s no need to rush off after golf! Country Bunker will be open from 4pm, with meals from 6pm–8pm every Thursday. Stick around for a drink, a feed and a bit of friendly banter.
Members, visitors, beginners and regular golfers are all welcome.

Finishing up the regular Thursday night dinner with a gift to you all - Naomi is doing curried sausages again, because you all begged for them. Served with creamy mash and veggies.

Also, delicious butter chicken with seasoned rice and veggies.

Dessert is Warm brownies with fudge sauce and ice cream.

Another hard choice to make this Thursday.

Crispy battered whiting with chips, salad, slaw and house-made tartare
OR
A winter warmer of glazed meatloaf with a creamy potato bake, vegetables and gravy.

And THEN treat yourself to a slice of indulgent Caramilk cheesecake.

Dinosaur nuggets or fish bites with chips for the kids, with a bonus bowl of ice cream.

Last Thursday was a new record for Naomi and you'd think she'd be ready for a rest, but no.
This week, she's bringing you more of your favourites, with a winter warmer thrown in for funsies.

You all know and love her Lasagne, served with chips and a house salad.

Or, try her Creamy Chicken, Bacon and Leek Casserole served on a bed of silky mash with piles of yummy veg.

And then, a crowd pleaser; Lemon Meringue Tart.

You're spoiled for choice this Thursday night.

Choose from Chicken Parmi, chips and salad, with the usual range of toppings OR Roast Pork with vegetables and gravy.

THEN a delicious warm Sticky Date Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce.

Another couple of Winter classics by request on the menu this Thursday.

Choose between tender silverside or juicy roast chicken thighs, both served with piles of delicious veg. Finish it off with your choice of classic white sauce or rich gravy.

Dessert is Strawberries and Cream Pavlova.

As always, meals are on from 5:30 to 7:00, or until sold out.
