PADSTOW UNITED ARE CHAMPIONS!🐯🔥

What a massive night for the Tigers! Padstow United have been crowned Bankstown Premier League Champions after a hard fought 1–0 victory over Yagoona Lions! 🏆

The winning goal came from relentless forward pressure on the Yagoona defence, forcing an attacking throw-in. Sergio Rojas took a quick throw to John Martinez, whose shot was parried by the Yagoona goalkeeper straight into the path of Rafael Coutinho, who made no mistake and fired home! ⚽🔥

From there, the Tigers defended with everything they had to hold onto the lead and secure a huge victory and an incredible championship!

An outstanding defensive performance from Hayden, who was exceptional at the back and played a huge role in keeping Yagoona scoreless.

A massive congratulations to every player, coach, staff member, volunteer and supporter who has contributed to this incredible season. Your dedication, commitment and belief in this team have made this moment possible.

Commiserations to our Grade 16 Division 1 team who went down to Moorebank Sports this morning. A fifth consecutive year of finals with many grand finals but not our year this season. We had new faces in the team plus old hands and they came together to make a formidable team. A huge thanks to Danny and Lucas for coaching and managing the boys 🖤🧡

It's finals time tomorrow for Padstow United! We have our 16/1s playing against Moorebank Sports in the Georges River Super league for a spot in next weeks preliminary final! They're playing early at Hammondville Park at 9am.

Our AAM7 won their elimination final last week defeating Birrong Black 3-1 at Playford Park. Now they will do their best against Birrong White at Jim Ring Reserve.

Finally, our Premier League team will be taking on Panania Diggers at Padstow Park at 6pm. They had a nail biter against Yagoona Lions narrowly going down in penalties.

It's going to be all action so let's get down and support all our teams playing tomorrow! Let's go Tigers! 🖤🧡🏆

After a fantastic season, it's time for finals football! Congratulations to all of our competitive teams on their efforts throughout 2026.

⚽ Grade 13 Division 3
Our Grade 13 Division 3 side have been outstanding, finishing as Minor Premiers on 42 points with an incredible record of 14 wins, 2 losses and a remarkable +67 goal difference. They kick off their finals campaign against East Bankstown at Playford Park tomorrow. Good luck, Tigers!

⚽ Grade 13 Ladies Division 1
What a season it's been for this talented group! With around half the squad being new to the team this year, they've come together brilliantly, played some fantastic football and most importantly, had plenty of fun along the way. Finishing 4th is a great reward for all their hard work. They take on St Christophers at Nick Kearns Reserve on Sunday.

⚽ All Age Men Division 8
With plenty of fresh faces joining the squad this season, our AAM8 team has done an outstanding job to finish 4th and return to finals football after narrowly missing out in 2025. They face Milperra at Gordon Parker Reserve tomorrow at 4:00pm.

⚽ All Age Men Division 7
With several Padstow United club legends returning this season, the AAM7 side has put together a fantastic campaign, finishing 3rd on the ladder. They'll take on Birrong Black at Playford Park tomorrow at 2:00pm.

⚽ Bankstown District League & Bankstown Premier League
Our senior men's teams have both earned their place in the finals, with the BDL finishing 4th and the BPL finishing 2nd. They'll both face Yagoona in a huge double-header at O'Neill Park tomorrow, with kick-offs at 1:30pm (BDL) and 4:00pm (BPL). Get down and support the boys!

While not every team made the finals, we're incredibly proud of the efforts across the club.

Our Grade 14 Division 3 side narrowly missed out on finals by just 2 points, while our Grade 16 Division 2 team were right in the mix before some tough losses late in the season prevented them from securing a finals berth. The team continued to compete hard every week and can be proud of their efforts throughout the season.

Our Grade 12 Ladies Division 1 team showed tremendous character all year. With many players stepping up into older age groups, they never stopped fighting, celebrated their first win of the season and most importantly enjoyed their football together.

Our All Age Men Division 6 team also missed finals after welcoming many new players into the squad and building a strong foundation throughout the season.

No matter the results, every player, coach, manager, volunteer and supporter has played a part in another fantastic year for Padstow United.

Our Men’s Premier League side celebrated Retro Round in style with a 3-0 local derby win over the Padstow Hornets on Saturday. It was a great day honouring our successful Premier League teams from the late ‘90s and 2000s, and our current boys did those past sides proud with a fantastic performance. Great win lads!
