Big News for Our SD BJJ Kids Program!

Our new class structure has been a huge success and we’re excited to make it official!

We now have two dedicated age groups:

🟢 4:40 PM – Little Warriors (Ages 4–6)
🔵 5:30 PM – Junior Grapplers (Ages 7–13)

This change helps us better support each child’s development, giving them the right pace, focus and environment to grow in confidence and skill.

💥 Little Warriors build confidence, coordination, discipline and BJJ basics through fun, engaging classes.
💥 Junior Grapplers focus on technique, teamwork, problem-solving and age-appropriate live training.

We’ve already seen amazing improvements in focus, confidence, and participation, plus plenty of smiles on the mats! 😊

Our updated timetable is now live and easier to read, making it simple for families to find the right class times.

Thank you to all our SD BJJ families for your support, we’re excited for what’s ahead! OSS!👊🏼

🥋 PAN PACS 2026 — WHAT A JOURNEY! 🥉🥉

What an incredible achievement for Aria and Zeplin, stepping onto the mats at their first major tournament, the prestigious Pan Pacific Championships! 🌏🔥
Sure, they didn’t come home with the gold… but they came home with something arguably even more valuable — EXPERIENCE!
They both had the courage to step onto those mats, put themselves in a completely vulnerable position and say, “Alright… let’s see what happens!”

And what happened?

THEY BOTH WALKED AWAY WITH A BLOODY BRONZE MEDAL! 🥉🥉

Not bad for your first Pan Pacs!

Competing at this level means putting yourself out there against some seriously tough competitors, dealing with nerves, pressure and the unknown and then having the guts to keep fighting regardless of what happens.
That experience will stay with them far longer than any medal.
More importantly, Aria and Zeplin, you should both be incredibly proud of yourselves. ❤️
The SD BJJ family is bloody proud of you both. This is just the beginning and every match, every mistake, every win, every loss and every nervous walk onto the mat is going to shape you into not only exceptional BJJ competitors, but exceptional people.
So enjoy the achievement… because you’ve now given yourselves a taste of what’s possible.

PAN PACS 2027… 👀

You might want to watch out for these two.

OSS! 👊🏽
