Junior Golf Rowes Bay

Tuesday on the main course tomorrow afternoon. First group going at 3:30 so please get there as soon as you can. Please comment below if you are playing so I can sort it all and make sure you have registered on the link in the earlier post.

Don’t forget next week is our Foursome Event for a trophy at the end of the year.

Monthly medal is on this weekend. There is no clinic so please be there at 7:30 for a 7:45am tee off. See you all Saturday.

Tuesday afternoons on the main course are starting up again. We will play 9 holes.

We will start next week (week 8 & 9) then start back again in term 4.

This is a great way to get some scores to go towards your handicap. We will have two different levels..

200m (or from the tee markers if it is the par 3)

Men’s and women’s tees.

To move past the 200m you just shoot under 50 for the 9 holes. This is so we get finished before dark and keep up pace of play.

You do not need to be a member of Rowes Bay to be part of this comp ($5 for members $10 for non members) but do need to register on the below link so I know who is coming.

Congratulations to Camden who broke the course record (also previously held by him) for the par 3 course in our Junior Competition. He shot 30 off the stick which is 3 over! What an amazing achievement at only 9 years old!

Juniors this weekend, we have our Grant award Memorial Shield on. This is a stableford event.
The men’s open is on this weekend so the car park will be full so I suggest getting there a little bit early! Because of this there will also be no clinic as there will be lots of players warming up everywhere.

Can we please make sure we are there ready to go at 7:30 so we can make a start playing at 7:45 since there is no clinic. As we have so many juniors now it’s important I know who is there so I can sort tb groups accordingly.

A reminder to all that air swings MUST be counted as a shot. Every shot counts so please make sure these are being counted in the scores.

Due to Magnetic Island Junior Open being cancelled we will now do our September Monthly Medal that weekend so that we can do our Foursome Competition on the 12th Sept (last week of the term) which will be for a trophy at presentation. If you know who you want to play with let me know!

For those that were going to be playing at Maggie Island Junior Open in two weeks this event has now been cancelled.
