🎾 AGM, Doubles Day & Family Fun Night 🎉

Community is what makes Tennis Palmerston special. 💙

On Saturday, September 5, we welcomed over 100 members, families and friends for a jam-packed afternoon and evening celebrating our club.

From our AGM and 19-team social doubles event to junior fundraising and Family Fun Night, there was something for everyone. Our juniors raised funds for their January interstate tour through a car wash and bake sale, while all profits from our doubles event also went towards supporting their journey. 🚗🍰

We were thrilled to welcome our wider tennis community for Family Fun Night, with tennis activities, Minute to Win It games and a FREE sausage sizzle, proudly sponsored by the Palmerston MLAs from the Country Liberal Party. 🌭

The evening continued with a delicious buffet dinner thanks to Bruce’s Charcoal Chicken & Chinese Takeaway, followed by live music from Top Rods Music . 🎶 A special shout out to the boys from Top Rod Music, who once started their tennis journey through our coaching programs. I’m incredibly proud to see where they are today.

A huge thank you 🙏 to our committee, coaches, volunteers, local businesses and organisations who helped bring this event to life. 🙌

This is what community looks like. I’m proud of what we are achieving at Tennis Palmerston and the opportunities we continue to create for our members and wider community.

🎾 Tennis Palmerston — More than just tennis.

🎾 Tennis Palmerston are back on the road! 🚗💨

We’re thrilled to be back at Wooliana School for our 6th year delivering tennis to the students!

It’s a 420km round trip for our 3-week program. After the floods earlier this year, the school has only just returned this term, so it’s a shorter program than usual.

Despite a challenging term and limited coaching resources, we made it a priority to get back out here.

It was a pleasure to be back on court today! ❤️🎾
