An unforgettable couple of days at the Murlpirrmarra Connection Limited Indigenous Tennis & Learning Carnival πΎ.
A huge shoutout to Darren Patten and the entire team for hosting over 250 Indigenous kids from across WA and the NT this week β an incredible effort. It was truly inspiring to see the powerful impact our sport can have in shaping and supporting the lives of young people. This was so much more than a tennis carnival. It was a rich, meaningful experience that opened doors well beyond the court β building connections, creating opportunities, and introducing pathways into university, trades, and future careers. Well done to everyone involved in making this event happen π.
The boys made the most of their time in WA and packed in some amazing experiences:
πΏ Exploring Kings Park
π¬ Science workshop at UWA
π§ Scitech visit
π¦ Perth Zoo
β΄οΈ Ferry ride & exploring Perth City
π³ Bowling fun
Today we head back to Darwin βοΈ.
Short, sweet, and incredibly special β we canβt wait to be back next year!

βΌοΈBookings for our Term 2 2026 Junior Hotshots program are now openβΌοΈ
Term 2 Hotshot programs commence on Monday the 13th of April (week 1 of school) and finishes on Saturday the 20th of June (10 week program).
π NEW PROGRAM ALERT β βTINYTOTSβ (Ages 3β4) π
Weβre excited to introduce Tinytots, a brand-new program designed just for our youngest players! After reviewing our previous Launchpad sessions, we found that combining 3β6 year olds in one group presented some challenges due to differences in:
πΎ Skill levels
πΎ Attention spans
πΎ Development stages
β¨ Whatβs new? β¨
By separating age groups, we can now:
β
Tailor sessions to each stage of development
β
Help younger children build confidence at their own pace
β
Give older kids more opportunity to be challenged and progress
