The Palmwoods facility has heated pools all year round. We run Learn To Swim for all age groups. You'll see that there is something for everyone at our centre!

Situated in the famous Hinterland town of Palmwoods, the Palmwoods Aquatic Centre offers heated pools all year round. We run classes for all age groups starting from babies to adults. If you are looking to improve your fitness, check out our Adult Fitness Squad or Aqua Aerobics classes. Whether you want to relax, increase your fitness or have fun with your family, our centre offers various activities. You can choose from our range of programs and activities, including our highly successful Learn to Swim program.

Meet Martin! 👋

For nearly 4 years, Martin has been a familiar face at Palmwoods Aquatic Centre, powering through an impressive 2km of breaststroke every single day! 🏊‍♂️

Now he’s taking on a new challenge and learning freestyle with the help of our swim instructors! 🤩

We love seeing our regulars push their boundaries and keep learning, no matter how seasoned they are. Keep smashing it, Martin! 👏

⚠️ UPCOMING FACILITY CLOSURE ⚠️

Due to maintenance works, Palmwoods Aquatic Centre will be temporarily closed from 12:00PM Saturday, 19 September to 12:00PM Monday, 21 September.

🚨 Please note, Learn to Swim (LTS) morning classes on Saturday, 19 September will proceed as scheduled. Afternoon Swim School will resume on Monday, 21 September at 3:30PM.

🚨 Monday morning Aqua classes are also cancelled. Aqua programs will resume their normal schedule on Tuesday, 22 September.

The centre will officially reopen to all members and guests at 12:00PM on Monday, 21 September.

We apologise for any inconvenience these temporary changes may cause and thank you for your understanding as we complete this essential maintenance.

Regular updates are a vital part of our roles here at the pool. From emergency response scenarios to CPR refreshers, continuous training ensures our team remains fully prepared for any medical situation.

Our top priority is keeping our clients safe at all times while they enjoy our centre. A huge thank you to our dedicated team for their ongoing commitment to safety, continuous learning, and community care! 👏
