Paringa Football Netball Club

Paringa Football Netball Club Founded in 1960
Premiers: 1979, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2018 We'll all go back to Paringa in coaches hot sedan.

Paringa boys, Paringa boys, Paringa boys are we, we're always up to mischief, no matter where we be. Some people think we’re silly but they make a big mistake, cause when they meet us Paringa boys, they meet us wide awake. Standing on the corner when Max Jones says to me, you're one of those Paringa boys, you better come with me. He grabbed me by the collar and he tried to run me in, I upped me fist and knocked him stiff the boys began to sing. Ham and eggs for breakfast, ham and eggs for tea, a slice of bread and butter, as hard as buggery, and if you do not like it, well have some bread and jam.

✨ 2026 CLUB PRESENTATION ✨

Last night we celebrated our 2026 Club Presentation, bringing together our playing group, coaches, committee, families and supporters to celebrate a wonderful season.

A huge thank you to the team at the Paringa Hotel for organising the space and table decorations, helping create such a beautiful setting for the evening.

Thank you also to our incredible committee and coaches who put so much time and effort into bringing the night together — from organising trophies, gifts, certificates and apparel, to putting together the slideshow and making sure all the little details were taken care of.

And a special shout-out to Chloe Smith from Riverside Event Hire for the beautiful decorations that helped bring everything together!

Most importantly, it was a chance to celebrate our people — the players, volunteers, coaches, families and supporters who make our club what it is.

We’ve also included some special photos from Grand Final Day!

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2026 season so special.

We’re through to our first grand final in seven years after turning the tables on Brown’s Well on Saturday!
It was a terrific effort where we executed our game plan well and controlled play for a lot of the day.
The only down side was our wayward goal kicking, but the pressure from both sides saw a lot of points kicked on the day.
Both teams traded points early, but it became apparent that this week would not be a repeat of the final minor round as we found a lot more of the footy.
We had the majority of the play at our end, but failed to execute in front of goal as both teams went into the first break without a major.
Slapper was in terrific form early, finding plenty of the footy, but also providing defensive pressure and composure. Silk was on song early in his return to the side, with a number of forward entries.
Lord Fraz was also having a big impact on the game, while captain Joel threw his body at everything.
Jimmy marked a beautiful kick inside 50 and converted early in the second to give us an eight-point lead, before a running goal from Lord Fraz put us up by 14.
We continued to pepper the goals in the second, but ended up kicking 2.6 for the quarter to Brown’s Well’s 0.4 to lead by 16 at the main break.
Zac’s willingness to work hard to support his teammates was a big reason for us pushing ahead, while Cuz racked up the touches through the middle.
Brown’s Well got its first on the board shortly after half time from a free kick, but we managed to keep the Bombers goalless from that point onward.
Goals to Cuz and Silk pushed the lead to 22 points at three quarter time.
Leroy was on fire down back, blanketing the dangerous Nathan Francis, while Ollie Pearce was all over David Hankin, keeping him to one goal for a second successive week.
The final quarter saw us control play as the Bombers simply ran out of legs as we cruised to a 21-point win.
Dean Hill won the Trademark Award as he crashed packs and brought his teammates into the game.

We look forward to playing the winner of this Saturday’s clash between Brown’s Well and Wunkar and welcome them to Paringa Oval the following week for the grand final!

And just like that, the 2026 A Grade season is done! What a year it has been for our Paringa girls.

• Message from our coaches•
A huge thank you to every single one of our girls for your commitment and effort throughout the 2026 season. It’s been a tough year, but every single week we saw an improvement.

We may not have had the wins we wanted, but what we have asked of you all is simple — each week, take something on board, learn from it and come back better than you were the week before. And you have done exactly that. ❤️

We are super proud of each and every one of you. It has been a privilege to meet you, coach you and watch you grow throughout the season. We couldn’t be prouder of the way you have continued to turn up, work hard and support each other.

Now let’s come back in 2027 bigger, better, stronger — and hopefully with a few more wins!

Thank you girls for an unforgettable year. We can’t wait to see what next season brings!

Our final game saw us go down to Brownswell 75–13, but there were still plenty of positives to take from the game and the season as a whole.

Raz played another outstanding game, coming out for every centre pass and, of course, finishing as our leading goal scorer for the day. She was always in the right place at the right time and worked tirelessly right until the final whistle.

Ara was fantastic once again in defence, timing her intercepts perfectly and making some great plays alongside Aston, Hannah and Courtney, who all worked incredibly hard in defence.

Our midcourt worked tirelessly all game, and it was fantastic to see our B Grade girls Lilly, Kel and Dani step up and take on the challenge. They played hard, gave it everything and should be proud of their efforts.

🎉 50 GAMES FOR CODIE! 🎉
Round 15 was also a very special milestone for Codie, reaching an amazing 50 games for Paringa!

Codie has played a little bit of everything this season, from goals to defence, but as usual, she really stood out in defence. Her strong play, fantastic intercepts and ability to read the ball and the play were once again on display.

Congratulations Codie on 50 games!

Here’s to the next 50 — hopefully all with the Paringa Football Netball Club!

𝐁 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥
That’s a wrap on the 2026 netball season! We travelled to Brown’s Well for our final game of the season, going down 48–24.

The girls gave it their absolute all from the first whistle right through to the end, continuing to fight and support each other despite the scoreboard.

Kel provided plenty of drive through the midcourt, working hard to move the ball forward and create opportunities for the attack end.

Chloe F was fantastic in defence, reading the play beautifully and creating plenty of turnovers throughout the game.

Bree B showed great variety in the goal circle, using lots of different moves to create space and combine with accurate shooting.

The final quarter was definitely one to remember, with the girls having a bit of fun and switching into different positions. It was a great way to finish the season — showing that while we always want to compete, we can also have a laugh and enjoy playing together.

While the result wasn’t what we were hoping for, there was plenty to be proud of. The girls showed determination, team spirit and resilience right until the final whistle.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, families and supporters for getting behind us throughout the season. It’s been a season full of challenges, growth, laughs and plenty of great memories.

𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥
Not the finest game to finish our season, but we gear up again for another crack at Brown’s Well in our return to finals this weekend.

The Bombers were too good on Saturday, taking us to task by 52 points.

It was our first look at their full midfield on Saturday, and we failed to make the most of Zac’s dominant ruckwork.

The Bombers were errant in front of goal early which kept us in the match, along with a late goal to Jimmy.

Fridge kicked the first of the second quarter, before Ben Larsson snuck forward to kick two for the Bombers.

However, KT kicked two majors in a row to end the second term and when Jaydo kicked his first early in the third, we trailed by just 10 points.

Brown’s Well kicked three in succession as they took control of the match. From there the Bombers edged further away to run away with the game.

Cuz played a brilliant game in the midfield, showing poise and a hard-edge throughout the game.

Emu was terrific for a second successive game, showing he is back to his best, while Zaccy and Crofty battled hard in the midfield and Leroy and Smeds did what they do best down back.

KT won the Trademark Award for playing while ill on Saturday and showing great character during the game. He also kicked three goals on the day.
This week we return to finals for the first time since 2019.

It is a big occasion for the club as at times the path to finals has looked out of reach.

However, I’d like to commend all of our players, coaches, committee, volunteers, netballers and supporters for helping us to get back where we belong.
