Awesome day!

⛵On the final day of our summer sailing season, we proudly christened our brand new rescue RHIB, generously donated by Bendigo Bank Parkdale, and named in honour of our long term Life Member Charlie Stephens in recognition of his many years of dedication and service to the club.

This incredible addition strengthens safety on the water and is just one example of the ongoing support our Community Bank Parkdale provide, not only to our club, but right across the local community. From junior sailing and learn to sail programs to essential equipment, their impact for our club is far reaching.

A special thank you to Anna and Alan for taking time out of their Sunday to be there with us, we truly appreciate your support.

We are proud to be backed by a bank that genuinely invests in its community. Thank you for helping us sail safer and stronger ⛵

**EXCITING NEWS**

What a year we've got ahead of us in 2027!!

And it kicks off with a VERY special event for our amazing Class in January. Here are the dates of our 50th Anniversary National Championships, to be hosted by Parkdale YC in January 2027.

Lots more details to follow, but start planning!! It's going to be a RIPPER!!

Here's some early advice from the club regarding accomodation.

"We strongly recommend competitors book early at Beaumaris Bay Motel, as accommodation across Melbourne fills quickly—particularly when major event like the Australian Open are on at the same time.

The closest train access is Parkdale railway station (Frankston line), located around 800 metres from the club.

Trains run every 15 minutes & a trip to the city is a 50 min trip.
