This round follows the strategic Event Allocation Framework introduced for the 2027–2028 cycle and beyond, and Expressions of Interest are now open for events held from 1 January to 31 December 2028.

Hockey Australia is pleased to announce that Griffith, New South Wales, will host the 2027 Hockey Australia Country Championships, with the nation's premier regional hockey tournament to be played from Saturday 7 August to Saturday 14 August 2027 at the Griffith Regional Sports Centre.

Hockey Australia looks forward to working closely with Major Event Sponsors: Griffith City Council and Griffith Regional Sports Centre as well as Griffith Hockey Association and local stakeholders over the coming months as planning continues for the 2027 Championships.

🏆 Community Sports Dad of the Year nominations are closing soon!

Do you know a dad who goes above and beyond for community sport?

Whether he's coaching, managing teams, marking fields, fundraising, driving kids to games or taking care of all the behind-the-scenes jobs that keep a club running, now is the time to recognise his efforts.
